Meet Lou, a sweet 4-year-old Maltese/Yorkshire Terrier mix with a soft tan-and-white coat and an even softer heart. Lou can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a little time and patience, and you’ll quickly see his true personality shine through.Once he feels comfortable, Lou transforms into a loving, affectionate companion who absolutely adores attention. He’s happiest when he’s close to his people—whether that means soaking up pets or handing out plenty of gentle kisses. His loyal and tender nature makes every moment with him feel special.Lou would do best in a home that understands he may need a little time to warm up, but the reward is a devoted, cuddly best friend who will always be by your side. If you’re looking for a quiet, loving companion with lots of affection to give, Lou might just be your perfect match.If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict.The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 PetWatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $175.00Per state law chapter 25.4, adopters must purchase a non-refundable 2024 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $7.20. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$5.20)Leash and collar included.
