Meet Sprinkles! This adorable 8-year-old pup came to PK as an owner surrender and weighs about 26 pounds. Based on the information we received, we believe he's a Maltese/Shih Tzu mix, though at his size it's likely there's another larger breed sprinkled into the mix, too! Whatever his family tree looks like, one thing is certain—Sprinkles is as sweet as his name. He is incredibly friendly, curious about the world around him, and loves cuddles, belly rubs, and spending time with his people. Sprinkles has a nice, easygoing personality and is perfectly happy enjoying a leisurely walk before settling in for an afternoon snooze on the couch. He is open to meeting other dogs and would do great with kids, but we're told he is not a good fit for a home with cats. Sprinkles will also need regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and comfortable. Thimble may look like a tiny, shy little puppy in her pictures, but don't let the camera fool you. The moment the camera comes out, Thimble suddenly becomes bashful. Put the camera away, though, and she turns right back into the happy, spunky little puppy she really is. At around 3 months old and weighing only about 3 pounds, Thimble spends her days bouncing from dog to cat to dog, playing with everyone she meets. She gets the cutest little zoomies and approaches life with the joyful confidence that only puppies seem to have. She is a sweet little Maltese mix who gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. Her tiny size makes her extra adorable, but she has enough personality packed into those 3 pounds to keep everyone smiling. Because of her young age and tiny size, Thimble has not yet been spayed. Her adopter will need to provide proof of spay in 2027 once she is old enough and large enough for the procedure. Oliver, a 6 year old Shih Tzu/Maltese mix, is a mellow guy who would enjoy a quiet home. You will usually find him lounging on the floor in whatever room his people are in. He does well with other dogs but could also be your one and only. Oliver does not enjoy living with cats, so a feline free home is a must. Oliver came into the rescue slightly overweight so his new family needs to help him maintain a healthy lifestyle with proper diet and exercise. Oliver loves an evening stroll around the neighborhood and walks well on leash. Overall Oliver is an easy going guy who has nothing but love to give! Oliver is being rehomed due to territorial marking that started in his former home after the addition of another dog. He started out wearing a belly band in our foster home. The marking has improved tremendously and he has been accident free for the majority of his time in foster care. Oliver is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped and on monthly flea/heartworm prevention.
