He’s still learning to trust humans and will need a patient, understanding home willing to give him the time and space he needs to feel safe. Frankie Joe gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company, though he would also be fine as an only dog in a calm environment. Because of his timid personality, a home without young children would be best for him. He was previously heartworm positive but has gone through treatment. Frankie Joe has been neutered, is up to date on all of his vaccinations, and is microchipped. With patience and love, Frankie Joe has the potential to blossom into a loyal and devoted companion. Kaiden is an approximately 7-8 years old, around 10 pounds Maltese mix. Kaiden is a loveable little guy. He loves to be brushed and lay next to his person. He loves mealtime and is on Natural Balance vegetarian food he is allergic to meat. He does have some allergies, so he requires a monthly cytopoint injection and baths a couple times a week. He is also on thyroid medication daily. He is potty trained and will go to the door and asked to be let out. He gets along well with other dogs. It takes him a bit to warm up to people. If his allergies are bothering him, he doesn't like to be petted or scratched and can be a bit moody, sometimes reactive.
