Chueco Blanco's adoption fee is $200. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Story
Trish is 8 years old and weighs about 10lbs. We believe she may be a Maltese and dachshund mix. She has a beautiful cream colored fluffy coat (she doesn't seem to shed!) and a long body with short legs. She is a darling little girl who was found in pretty rough shape in Brenham and taken to the shelter there. She had a ruptured globe of her right eye and it had to be removed. She has slight visual impairment of the left eye but she gets around perfectly fine. Due to chronic dry eye in her left eye, she now has an implant in that eye that dispenses eye drops to prevent any further damage. This implant requires no maintenance but the owner other than periodic check ups. No meds or eye drops needed! The implant will need to be replaced every 2 years. Trish has a sweet personality and is very loyal and attached to her person. Her next favorite thing would be her beloved squeaky toys. She likes to get them all in one spot and give them each fair play time! She does resource guard these toys from other dogs, so she would do best as an only dog in the home, or a dog that would show no interest in her toys. Trish is fully vaccinated, spayed, has had her teeth cleaned, is heartworm negative and also microchipped. She is ready to find a loving home and a best friend to spend her days with! Trish's adoption fee is $300. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Story
Introducing Miles, the adorable 13lb, 8-year-old Malshi! This lucky boy has beat the odds by surviving a vicious attack and is now seeking a forever home filled with love. Miles is funny, playful, and highly entertaining! He loves to run around with his cherished pink elephant in tow. This silly boy adores cuddles and belly rubs too, but loves nothing more than to be by his human's side. His social nature extends to dogs of all sizes and cats alike. While Miles is a happy old soul, he's not a fan of his daily eye drops for dry eyes, a small price for a lifetime of companionship. Because this condition has resulted in some vision impairment, it is recommended that Miles finds a home without small children or a pool. He navigates really well and enjoys leashed walks. Miles is house-trained and crate-trained with the minor need for a belly band in unfamiliar environments. Although he doesn't bark frequently, when he does, it's so irresistibly cute. If you're ready to open your heart to this little Luck Dragon, Miles is waiting to share his never-ending story of love, joy, and companionship with you! Adoption fee is: $350.00 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Story
Roxie was only 6 weeks old when a senior lady chose her from a litter of puppies. She was a very smart, alert and affectionate puppy and got along well with the lady's older dog. Roxie quickly learned to use an indoor potty pad. She loved to run and play in the lady's big, fenced backyard, and she liked to fetch toys that were thrown. Roxie loved attention and was a great little watch dog. After a couple of years, the senior lady moved into an apartment and began to have some health problems that required her to have surgery. There was no longer a backyard, for energetic Roxie to run and play in. She had to be walked on a leash. The senior lady soon realized this was not the best life for Roxie and asked Emmy's Hope Rescue to find her a new home. Roxie will need a family familiar with and accepting of high energy dogs. She led a sheltered life with only one other dog and not many human visitors. She has a difficult time getting along with other dogs at the Rescue, sometimes being aggressive. Therefore, we recommend that Roxie should probably be an only dog.  Estimated birth date:  October 2019 Approximate weight:  20 lbs. If you would like to meet  Roxie, please call or text Stephanie at:  281-622- 6549. *** ADOPTION CRITERIA *** To qualify to adopt from Emmy's Hope Rescue, YOU MUST HAVE ALL 4 QUALIFIERS: 1. Live in the Houston area (no more than an hour's drive away). 2. Be 21 years or older. 3. Have a fenced yard. Fencing must touch the ground all the way around the yard. 4. We are looking for experienced pet owners. You must have at least 3 years of good vet history, with your current and / or past dogs. Your vet record should show that you take your dog(s) to the vet annually for an exam and to update their Rabies and DHPP (distemper, parvo) vaccinations and heartworm testing, and that you purchase a monthly heartworm preventative.April 14, 2024, 5:43 pm
