My Name is LADY (adopter must have experience with a behavior dog, fee low to find the right person) I was surrendered by a family who no longer wanted to care for me. I was never groomed or bathed for the first year of my life , I gave birth to a liter of puppies and then my family stuck me in a kennel for a week, then waited for the rescue to pick me up. I came into rescue with my son MAX who is also up for adoption. My foster mom has worked with me the last 9 months building trust with grooming , baths , humans , other animals and the traveling. I am kennel trained ,I know how to use a dog door , I enjoy going for walks but I MUST be on a leash , otherwise I am a runner. I enjoy car rides and adventures . I like to get out of the house, I chase stray cats so I probably won't do well in a home with cats. I don't do well with small children who force themselves on me . I prefer to slowly build trust and take time to work on bonding with my new family. I love being a lap dog and on the couch next to you . Meet FREEDOM ! This sweet baby girl was running the streets of south Phoenix for 2 weeks before we could catch her. She was covered in engine oil and filth , she had several matted patches and looks as though she never had a grooming before . She has been shy throughout this entire process, I truly don’t see where she was ever properly trained or ever learned how to be a dog . We worked on crate training and dog door training and she has mastered both of those ! We are working on leash and traveling in the car , and she is getting better with each trip . She will need someone who can help her become her best version ! She will need help with exposure to the outside world and help on building her confidence. She does great with other dogs that are her size or smaller . She is a little timid of larger dogs but With the right person and dog she can overcome that .She is still very much a puppy and loves to play with toys and needs items to keep her occupied . She has been fully shaved to give her a reset on her coat and confidence.
