Story
I found him on Craigslist. He is an absolute sweetheart. He likes people and dogs.. unfortunately my older dog, Beau does not get along with him and he deserves to be around another dog that enjoys his company. He doesn’t leave your side and does have a lot of energy. He is very timid more training for him would be ideal but he is a SMART dog.

Story
Adopt Lola Hey, everyone! I'm Lola! My foster is still getting to know me, but so far, I'm adjusting well! I sleep all night in my kennel with no accidents. I am still figuring out how to go bathroom outside, but I know how to use a puppy pad! I still have some learning to do, but I am a quick learner. I can say I'm a great eater! You won't see me leaving my bowl with food in it. If you think we might be a match, apply to meet me! #lcdrlola Would you like to be my new family? Story
Kobe is a longtimer in our rescue, and we couldn't tell you why?! We rescued him from a pretty terrible situation 3 years ago. He lived on a 25lb chain, outside, in the Arizona climate for his entire life. He's one of the sweetest and most affectionate, snuggly dogs in our rescue! He's good with dogs and people. Does well on a leash and is great in public! He's a small 20lbs, light enough to carry around like a koala bear! He does great with other dogs. He has been a resource guarder in the past, but we have worked through the vast majority of that habit. It most commonly involved him grabbing something hanging off the counter, or snatching something out of the trash, only lashing out if you went to physically pull him away from the object. He would snap but never would break the skin. It's only enough to give someone a little scare. It's a seamless process for us, however, his adopter will need to be willing to learn the protocols we use to keep everyone safe! We do not adopt any of our dogs out to people with young children (under 15), for the safety of our dogs. Not good with cats. If you're interested in learning more about Kobe and believe you could provide him with the home he deserves, please submit an adoption application with the link below. https://www.handoverrover.org/adoptionapplication

Story
Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogIf you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Hi! My name is Karma, and I am a little Maltese girl who was born 8/29/16, and I weigh 6 pounds. I need a quiet home with a sibling to learn from and play with. No large dogs and no small children, please. Grandkids that visit and are gentle is fine. A home visit is required with all family members, present. If you have been waiting for a beautiful Maltese girl, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Love, Karma 031823-17  April 29, 2024, 11:29 am
