Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving on 5/17/25 to NorCal and OR. Surrounding states will be added to our route if needed ☺️ We would love to add Yoko to our trip for the right home 💕
Meet Yoko ❤️ She is a 2 year old pomapoo. (Pomeranian/poodle.) she weighs 8.8 lbs. Yes, she is full grown and at a very healthy weight. She is naturally petite 💕 She definitely has the poodle coat and once it comes in full, it has a beautiful curl to it. Her ears, are all Pomeranian 🥹 She is adorable in every way imaginable in both looks and personality. You won't have to worry about shedding since she takes after the poodle in her, so it's a win win in the end if you ask me 😊
She is spayed, current on all vaccines, microchipped, had a dental cleaning done (no extractions needed, just a good polish and clean as her teeth were in overall great health,) and had a wonderful exam with our vet who has cleared her to find a home all her own ♥️
She is wonderful with ALL dogs and cats alike. She lived in a home with a few cats, so she is very well acclimated to them. She loves to play, but equally loves just being with her human. You don't need to have another animal friend to fill this girls heart, you are truly all she needs to be happy in life!
She has very great house manners, and is always laying near by in a bed all her own, or if she is allowed she loves being in your lap ❤️ She is not hard to please whatsoever and has an independent side to her which allows you to go about your day while she goes about hers. She isn't high energy whatsoever and really does love just hanging out and enjoying the day as it comes along however that looks like.
She isn't a barker, but will alert you of unfamiliar noises. She listens quickly, and will always come back to you when called and let you take over. She may follow you to let you know she has your back 😂 but she knows to stay quiet at that point and let you take the lead ☺️
She loves road trips of any length, and really enjoys hitting the road and will nap in her booster seat if she isn't enjoying the views outside her window. She is the perfect companion on road trips, and will make them so much more fun (that's a promise!!) She has an adventurous little spirit, and is always excited to explore new stops along the way 🙃
She is wonderful with our groomers, and has really enjoyed becoming friends with our groomer because she knows she gets the one on one attention along with a lot of extra pets, and snuggles while making her feel her absolute best ❤️
She is house trained, and goes outside every couple of hours to use the restroom when needed. She was also introduced to puppy pads in her previous home so that won't be an issue if you prefer that, but since with us we haven't used them and have had her strictly outside to use the restroom which she has been doing just fine with.
She is crate trained, and currently sleeps in her crate at night and to occasionally nap in during the day. She will ask you to let her in her crate by pawing at it, as she just loves the comfort of being in her own space at times which will help if you need to leave her at home for any period of time moving forward until she settles into your home and is comfortable staying out of her crate til you return home.
She is leash trained, and loves her walks. She is a very social little girl and while she isn't the first to run up to anyone new, she sure greets them very sweetly and attentively ❤️ She is a true gem, and one we will surely miss here but it's her time to find a happy ending of her own so we are happy to see that she gets just that ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Her prior owner had to move into a smaller place that unfortunately didn't allow pets. Financially she couldn't afford the ones that did, and while she loved Yoko very much she knew keeping her was no longer an option so she reached out to us to take her in and find her an incredible home.
Her adoption fee along with its breakdown is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/_yoko
It covers her spay, vaccines, microchip/registration, dental cleaning (her teeth were in overall great health, they just needed a good clean and polish.) the treatment of a double ear infection (which is cleared up ☺️,) and her overall physical exam (which went great!)
As always her adoption fee also goes back into the care involved in the few months she has been with us, her grooming costs, and training we have personally done with her ❤️
