Meet Susie Q! This cute, four year-old, approximately 22 pound female pup is looking for a new forever home. Susie Q was surrendered by her owners. She needs a new safe haven. She is friendly, social, playful, and gentle. She is tolerant, and interacts well with most other dogs. She is being treated with Apoquel for some skin allergies, but they are healing up nicely. She is micro chipped, dewormed, flea and tick treatment, heartworm negative, has had her Bordetella ,distemper and rabies vaccines. She is completely vetted and spayed. She was groomed and got shaved down today because she was really quite matted. Susie Q loves to cuddle and snuggle and sleep with her person. She is a nice, calm, quiet, well behaved pup. We are not sure of the breed. We are guessing Maltipoo, possibly Schnauzer mix. Meet Leelo! Leelo is a small spayed female cockapoo (~14 yrs old and 23 lbs). Leelo is very sweet!  Her foster said, "Leelo is loving and sweet! She love car rides and walks, is fully up-to-date on vaccines and spayed. She had dentals every year before being surrendered to us. Leelo is housebroken and crate trained. She does well with cats, kids and other dogs. She loves to be with her people!" Leelo is medically up to date and spayed. Apply to meet this special pup today! As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
