I was happy to have my sister with me, but so sad that she's passed away. You see our person, also, passed away and no one in the family wanted us so we were whisked off to the loud county shelter. I huddled together, with my sister, trying to act brave, but in truth I was scared to death. Then a friendly face appeared to take me to a place with lots of other dogs my size. I'm fine with other small dogs. I've been through a lot for 14 years old, but I'm hopefully that someone wants a sweet, tiny girl like me.

This 9-year-old miniature poodle is a senior with plenty of personality. He can sometimes show a bit of attitude, so we recommend a home without small children. Paxton enjoys walks on a leash but would thrive with a small, dog-approved fenced yard where he can safely explore and stretch his legs. He gets along well with other dogs and would make a wonderful companion for the right family. Paxton weighs 8lbs. and is approximately 9 years old (est. birth date 01/29/2016). Paxton has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Paxton's adoption fee is $85. A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! A Victor is a precious miniature poodle mix. He came to us with an injured leg that required amputation. He has adjusted very well and loves to run. Victor is crate trained and can walk on a leash. Victor requires a home with a secure fenced yard that is appropriate for a small breed dog. Victor will need a home with no small children. He is very loving, but can be protective of his people and toys. Victor does not have a bite history, but needs a family that understands small dogs with an attitude. He is so very loving and loves to give kisses. If you’re interested in learning more about this baby, please apply to furkids.org. We are not considering out-of-state adoptions. Victor currently weighs about 12lbs and is approximately 2 years old (estimated birth date 10/03/2023). His adoption fee is $185. Victor has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives, and is microchipped. He’s housetrained, knows basic commands, and is a smart little guy who enjoys learning — though he’s still working on curbing his jumping when he gets excited. Rio has high energy and loves to play, making him a great fit for an active family. Most of all, he is incredibly loving with his people and truly thrives on attention and affection. He bonds closely and enjoys being part of the action at home. Because he can feel anxious in very busy, loud, or high-traffic environments, Rio would do best in a calmer setting where he can feel secure and supported. With continued structure, patience, and love, he will continue to grow into an amazing lifelong companion. Rio currently weighs about 23lbs., is approximately 3 years old (est. birth date 01/26/2023), and his adoption fee is $510.
