Toby has been part of our family for the past 3 years, and he has been such a good boy. He is fully potty trained, wonderful with kids, and gets along great with other animals. Unfortunately, life circumstances have changed. I recently moved in with my boyfriend, and although Toby has been part of my life for years, my boyfriend isn’t a dog person and doesn’t want him in the home. This has been a really difficult situation for me because Toby deserves so much love and attention. My kids are only with me every other week, and I’ve noticed that Toby seems bored and sometimes a little down. He is the kind of dog who loves being around people, getting cuddles, receiving attention, and simply being part of a family. I’m looking for a loving home where Toby can receive all the affection, companionship, and attention he deserves. I don’t want him to feel unwanted or like he’s just in the way. I want him to be somewhere he is welcomed, loved, and treated like family.

Story
Meet Stewart! Stewart is an 8-year-old Lhasa Apso mix with a sweet, loving personality. He is super playful and wonderful with children, cats, and other dogs and would make an amazing addition to a loving home! Stewart has a history of intervertebral disc disease (IVDD), although he has not had an episode in many years. He does best with smaller dogs, as roughhousing with larger dogs can make him anxious. He also prefers not to be rolled onto his back unless he does so himself. Rehoming Stewart has been an incredibly difficult decision for our family. Unfortunately, our living situation has changed, and we are no longer able to give him the time and attention he deserves. Stewart is very loved, and our greatest hope is to find him a wonderful home where he can receive the love, companionship, and care he deserves!
