Meet Chubbs 🐾 Chubbs is a 5-year-old Maltipoo with a sweet, gentle personality. He’s affectionate, calm, and loves lounging and being close to his people. He’s smart, learns quickly, is potty trained, and doing well with eating and routines. He’s been great with the 11 year old girl in his foster home and would likely do well with kind, respectful kids. He can startle easily and be a bit timid at first so no toddlers for this sweet man. With other dogs, he’s polite and adaptable. He’s comfortable as an only dog or with a gentle canine companion but not one that would try to play rough. He enjoys the yard but is just as happy coming back inside to relax. He will require regular grooming so he needs a family that will make the time for and who is willing to provide the finances to keep him clean and comfortable. Approx. DOB: 12/18/22                  Approx Weight: 9 Lbs Adoption Fee: $275 includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! Barney is an approx 3yr old Maltese mix found in the Missouri woods. He is very lovey gets along with other dogs and is curious but never chases cats. He is playful but still learning about toys he likes walking on a leash but will run if not leashed. He will need a fenced yard. He is crate trained and does like to snuggle with you anytime!   He is still working on being house broke he is good with wearing a belly bands. I have been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, wormed and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible. DOB: 5/22/22                 Weight: 14 Lbs Adoption Fee: $275 includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! Ashton was released to us from a breeder. He is a shy sweet pup that is learning what life is all about in his foster home. He is very curious and really starting to trust.  He eagerly takes treats from his Foster Mom! He does fine in a crate while his foster is away but doesn't like being crated.  At night he sleeps in his foster Mom's bed, usually on a pillow right next to her and he likes his night night pets.  He has bonded well with two of his fostermates, both are girls and both came from breeders and are more calm.  He will definitely need a canine companion in his forever home and he will need a fenced yard.  He is active and very fast, he loves to run in the yard! He will need a patient family that will give him the time to really settle in. He has bveen doing great on housebreaking but is not yet 100%. Overall as a breeder release he has done really well adapting to a home life. Ashton has been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, wormed and microchipped.  He also had a dental with one extraction.
