Meet a loving, energetic dog looking for his forever home. He was given to me by another family who could no longer care for him, and now I’m hoping to find a family that will give him the attention, love, and playtime he deserves. He’s very attentive, affectionate, and thrives on companionship. He does best with people who can spend time with him, as he enjoys attention and being part of daily activities. He’s active, playful, and especially loves morning walks and time outdoors. He would likely do great with a family that has kids to play with and plenty of room for him to stay engaged and happy. I’m looking for a caring home where he’ll be treated like part of the family.

Story
Bruce (aka: Boots/Bootsie) will be 11 this December. I adopted him when he was 3. Most of the day he is curled up in his favorite spot. He is a great guard dog. He would do better as an only dog because he is older and just likes to relax. He definitely thinks he is a big dog and will bark at bigger dogs. He is potty trained but wears belly bands inside. He is really sweet and LOVES to cuddle but do not bother him at all when he is eating. He can have a little attitude. I am rehoming him because I have a very busy schedule and would like to find him a home with someone who will love him and care for him like he deserves.

Ekko & Mimi's Story Ekko (black and tan, male, 15 lbs) and Mimi (tan & white, female, 11 lbs) are an adorable bonded pair looking for a home where they can stay together forever! These sweet pups are house trained, crate trained, and have an easygoing, medium energy level that makes them a great fit for many different homes. They absolutely love people and enjoy playing with kids of all ages. Friendly and social, they are not fearful or reactive and have wonderfully happy personalities. Their favorite pastime is romping around the backyard together and playing with their small stuffed toys before settling in for some relaxation time. Ekko and Mimi are easy to walk on leash and could do well in an apartment or home environment as long as they get their daily exercise and playtime. They’re relatively quiet overall, though they may bark a little when they see activity outside the fence — but once outside, they are calm and content explorers. Like many playful dogs, they do enjoy chasing cats, so a cat-free home would be best for this duo. If you’re looking for two loving companions who already adore each other and are ready to bring double the joy into your life, Ekko and Mimi may be the perfect match! Ekko and Mimi are both about 8-10 yrs old. They are currently being fostered in Houston, TX and are available locally or out of state to the Northeast.
