Looking for the right forever home for CocoAbout two months ago, I took in Coco after his original owner, an older woman I was very close with, passed away. Her family couldn’t care for him, so I stepped in to foster him and make sure he stayed safe and loved. It has been just me and him since then. I keep him active and cared for, but I always knew my role was to hold him until the right family came along. Coco is used to being around a full, lively household, and you can tell he thrives with constant interaction, play, and people who can match his energy. Hello everyone. This is pallina. I rescued her from a neglectful home in 2018 when she was around 1 years old. Unfortunately I’m moving and won’t be able to take her anymore. Pallina is the poster dog for a lap dog. She’s extremely affectionate, loving and loyal. She loves to play catch, go on drives and cuddle at night. She deserves to be in a loving home where her new family will be able to provide her with the attention she needs. Some things to notes with Pallina: be aware Malteses need constant grooming!! Pallina has very soft thin hair and easily gets matted and knotted. I would not suggest Pallina to be around small kids. I have a 5 year old boy and although Pallina tolerates him she does not like to be rough housed especially with smaller kids. Pallina does not do well with other dogs. Especially bigger dogs. I have a cat that she will tolerate but she does not like my cat and prefers to be the only animal. Lastly pallina has very sensitive skin something to keep note of

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.This darling little girl is DARCY, a bit over 1 years old and 8 pounds.  She has pretty much reached her adult height and weight with maybe 1 pound to gain.  She is mostly Maltese and will need to be groomed every 2-3 months to keep her straight hair from tangling. DARCY is my shadow but she does not get in my way, she just likes to go wherever I go.  DARCY does go outside to play with a couple of Shih Tzu's and have fun.   DARCY can be a bit of a diva and a bossy little girl to the other dogs.  She just tries to keep them in order.  But she plays well with the others and she loves to cuddle.  She is about 75% potty trained.  I do not have a doggy door and let her out to potty with the other dogs and she does just fine.  She is completely crate and house trained.  I have no problem leaving her alone in my home with my personal dogs while I am gone.  She is not destructive or get into personal items. I do not have any cats so I do not know how she would get along with them.  It took DARCY about 2 days to get to know me and show her real personality so some patience is required but then she becomes your shadow and best friend. If you are interested in adopting DARCY, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.
