Story
When Fluffy joined BAARK, he was in desperate need of help, as well as plenty of attention, and a stable home of his own. He's a cute, friendly, young Maltipoo who, during his young life, had been bounced from home to home and ultimately ended up dumped at an area animal control facility.
When we took Fluffy he was a complete mess....he was so matted that his body had to be shaved, and in order to find his face under all the matting and crud, he required sedation prior to grooming......and there emerged, an absolutely adorable little guy.
Fluffy is almost ready to find that permanent home and forever family that he deserves. He’s about 2.5 years old, and weighs just 6 pounds. He is the sweetest dog ever, very friendly, loves people and enjoys the company of other dogs too.
Fluffy’s favorite activities include cuddling, hanging out with his people, and relaxing with his canine friends in the sun. He is a bit skittish around young children but older kids are fine, as long as they are respectful of him. He is currently working on his housetraining skills; his new family will need to be patient and consistent in working with him to ensure he becomes fully housebroken. This could be a challenge given the incoming cold weather….a warm jacket or sweater would be most helpful!!
Fluffy is a very sweet, friendly, overall perfect young (~2,5 years old) pup. We hope that he will find the forever home he deserves so he can enjoy the attention and care that comes with a family of his own.
This youngster is fully vetted, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and on year-round heart prevention, and microchipped. His neuter is also included in his adoption fee.
