Say hi to Sam, a sweet young man who is a little bit shy at first. He hasn’t had much exposure to ordinary things in the past, particularly leashes. So he needs a little bit of time to trust you before you can just walk in and take him for a walk. But if you are a little patient, Sam will reward you with a lot of loyalty. He just needs to know that you will take care of him. Once he’s comfortable, Sam becomes like velcro. He will follow you everywhere, and will happily jump up for pets and kisses. He even tests out some lap time, though he’s just a little bit too big for that. He’s playful and affectionate and is getting used to walking on the leash. Just don’t force Sam into situations that scare him, like meeting the trash truck. Though fake-bacon treats may just do the trick for that, too. This boy is ready for his forever home, so he can grow into the confident and loving man he is meant to be.
