12/17/25 09:25`Lady Diana` is a resilient tripod whose amputation has healed well, and she is now medically ready for adoption or rescue. She is a very sweet, affectionate girl who loves attention and bonds closely with her people. In her previous foster home, she was housetrained, comfortable using a crate, and did very well with positive reinforcement training—quickly learning cues like “sit” and “bedtime.”According to her former foster, Lady Diana was calm and loving in the home and showed no aggression toward household members, visitors, or the resident dog. She enjoys her walks and does best in quieter environments. Her foster noted some challenges with overstimulation and reactivity on walks and around small animals, which would benefit from continued training and management.Overall, Lady Diana is a loving, eager-to-please dog who would thrive in a patient home or rescue committed to helping her continue building on the strong foundation she showed in foster care.08/26/25 13:30 4 yo female small terrier with brachial plexus avulsion to right front limb.Could improve with time and rest, may need limb amputation. Needs rescue.

Looks like: Miniature Pinscher Mix Male, 10 years old (estimated), 12 pounds Little Buddy is ready to snuggle his way right into your heart or under your blankets! This spunky little boy loves to play with stuffed toys and enjoys a nice walk - he's a perfect gentleman on leash! He has a moderate amount of energy. He plays hard but also naps hard. Did we mention that Buddy is a champion cuddler? This sweet guy bonds with his person quickly and deeply. He loves being on your lap or in your arms but is also perfectly content curled up in a dog bed with or without other pups. Buddy has some arthritis in his back, so he prefers gentle handling, and would love to be in a home with a single adult. Despite his arthritis, Buddy loves exploring the world on walks and is happiest sniffing to his heart's content! He does great around other dogs but because of his arthritis, Buddy is looking for a home with dog friends who can also be gentle with him and not roughhouse. Buddy returned to us after one of his guardians health began to decline.

Looks like: Miniature Pinscher Female, 9 years old (estimated), 12 pounds Dorothy is a tiny Miniature Pinscher with a huge heart and an equally big sense of adventure. Sweet, affectionate, and full of pep, she's the kind of dog who brings joy just by trotting into the room. She loves her walks, adores other dogs, and has a cheerful sparkle that makes every day brighter. Dorothy does have one very important caveat... she's a skilled Olympic-level escape artist. Truly. If there were medals for fence climbing, door slipping, or lightning-fast door dashing, Dorothy would have an entire shelf of gold. Because of this, Dorothy will need a very secure home, a watchful, attentive guardian, and humans who understand and know how to manage flight-risk pups. Dorothy is super sweet and people-loving, great with other dogs, small but spirited, and full of personality! What's not to love? Sweet Dorothy joined us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services where she was brought in as a stray. Due to her senior status, they felt she would do best in a senior-focused rescue setting.
