Bashful may look like a kitten, but he hops like a rabbit and plays fetch like a dog. This brave little Manx boy is full of personality. You may have noticed he’s missing a tail — Bashful was born completely without one, a type of Manx known as a “rumpy.”Like many Manx cats, Bashful has a few unique traits that make him extra special. When he runs, he bounds along like a little bunny rabbit, and when a toy is tossed, he’ll happily chase after it and proudly guard his prize from his siblings with adorable growls.Bashful is playful, affectionate, and incredibly social. He loves attention and companionship and can be quite the chatterbox. Catch him in the right mood and he’ll happily tell you all about his day — or remind you that his food bowl needs refilling. He thrives on interaction and makes a wonderful little companion.Because of his Manx syndrome, Bashful does have some special care needs. He prefers using pee pads, though he will occasionally use the litterbox. He also experiences small amounts of urine leakage at times, especially when fully relaxed or asleep. To help keep him comfortable and clean, his foster mom wipes his bottom daily with pet wipes and gives him a quick rinse in the sink when needed. It’s not his favorite activity, but thankfully he’s tiny enough to manage easily.We understand that his needs may require extra consideration, but Bashful is such a loving, joyful little cat that we truly believe he deserves someone willing to give him that chance. Little Monica was wandering alone, as a tiny little kitten, around an apartment complex. She was very scared and extremely malnourished. She is semi-feral and initially was very cautious around humans, but she gets more and more comfortable and affectionate with us with each day, in fact she’s turned into quite a sweet lil lap cat (when a treat is involved). She is a Churu thief - she loves these little creamy treats and will do practically anything for them. Being with other kittens and cats is calming and reassuring for her. She would do well in a house with another cat for support. Monica is unique in that she is a bobtail (Manx)
