Story
Kieran is a manx cat that mostly prefers to do his own thing. He has bitten his foster caregiver once when he was startled by being grabbed. He likes to be in his foster mom's lap, but isn't affectionate like most of our other cats. Because he's still a bit wild, we are willing to consider a safe indoor/outdoor or barn situation where he will be well-fed, watched out for, and appropriately integrated onto the property (safe kennel out of the elements that's closed off at first until he considers the new space his home so he doesn't wander off and try to go "home"). He has been indoors since he was a kitten but has not adjusted to being an affectionate pet.

Story
Meet Howie, the gray tabby Manx mix with opinions about absolutely everything! This bobtailed little commentator is incredibly vocal and firmly believes every household event deserves his input. Breakfast? He has thoughts. Closed doors? Completely offensive. Bedtime? He’d like to file a formal complaint. Howie doesn’t just meow — he holds full conversations and expects you to participate. Howie is also hilariously affectionate and has absolutely no respect for personal space. He’ll happily launch himself into your lap for cuddles, and if you bend over for even a second, don’t be surprised if he decides your back is the perfect perch. He wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing at all times. This playful, social boy would love a feline buddy to wrestle, zoom around, and exchange gossip with. He tolerates dogs, but other cats are definitely more his speed. He’s also wonderful with kids and would thrive in an active home that appreciates a cat with a huge personality and nonstop commentary. If you’re looking for a quiet, independent cat, Howie is probably not your match. But if you want a funny, affectionate, talkative sidekick who will make you laugh daily and keep life interesting, Howie is ready to move in and start supervising the household immediately. Email info@habitat4paws.org for more on adopting Diamond. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
