Story
Ladybug is the sweetest girl who would love to cuddle with you all day. She seriously wants to be in your arms always. Ladybug was found on the side of the road (presumed dumped). She has Manx syndrome which comes in varied degrees. For Ladybug this means that she needs bladder expression 3x per day and is fecal incontinent, since she does not have an anus. She is very easy to express and as long as this is done regularly will not leak urine. She does best on a canned or raw diet to keep her stool nice and firm. This makes it easy to pick up. Ladybug gets along with cats and dogs. She is one of the sweetest cats her foster has ever met and we are hopeful a special adopter will open their hearts and find her extra care worth it. A Grade 2 heart murmur was auscultated during exam, however no signs of congestive heart failure noted.

Story
Hello there! My name is Dung Beetle and I am a mischievous and fun young guy who loves to play and snuggle. I am especially fond of sleeping with my humans in bed and tucking myself into blankets. I wrap myself up in a banket burrito just like a human. I want to be a part of all the household fun, and even ride on shoulders sometimes, and haven't met a cat or dog who isn't my friend so far. My needs are a little different than the normal cat. For this reason, I found myself surrendered to the shelter at 12 weeks old and was scheduled to be euthanized. My life had not even begun! Thankfully Misfit Felines saved me just in time. I was born with Manx Syndrome, which means that I don't have a tail, my spine is shorter, and I need some help going to the bathroom. I've learned that wearing diapers isn't all that bad, because it means I can run the house and live like a normal feline. I do need my bladder expressed 2 to 3x per day, and unfortunately sometimes my butt gets a little messy so a quick wet wipe or wash of my rear is needed once or twice per day. I am not too fond of this time, and make that known with a meow that sounds like an old creaky door, but once it's done I'm back to having fun. Bonus is no finding a spot for a litterbox (although if there is one I will dig just for fun). I really love the companionship of other kitties, and if someone had room in their heart for two special kitties, my friend Ladybug and I are a great pair.

Story
Lynx’s journey hasn’t been easy, but he hasn't let a rough start dampen his sparkle. Found after a traumatic accident (likely a car encounter) that left him with a broken leg and head injuries, there was a moment when we weren't sure if he’d ever walk again. Fast forward through some medical TLC, and Lynx has defied the odds. He’s now a healthy, zooming, high-energy house "bobcat" who is ready to find his forever pride. The "Lynx" Stats: 🐈 Breed: Orange Tabby (with a stylish, natural bobbed tail!) 🤪 Personality: 100% Goofball 👃 Signature Look: A charmingly crooked nose from his recovery that only makes his "tough guy" face cuter. 😺 Special Skills: Professional ankle-stalker, sparkly ball retriever, and cuddle-pile enthusiast. His Perfect Match: Lynx is a social butterfly who thinks life is one big party. Because he’s a high-octane kitten, he has a few requests for his future home. - Feline Friends are a Must: Lynx loves other cats. Whether it’s a high-speed wrestling match or a midday nap in a cuddle pile, he needs a feline sibling who can keep up with his energy. - The "Big Game" Hunt: He still has that wild kitten energy! He loves to "hunt" ankles, so he needs a family that understands his playful nature. - Older Kids Only: Because Lynx hasn't quite learned that "love bites" aren't everyone's favorite way to communicate, he’d do best in a home with older children who can handle his spicy playstyle. Why You’ll Love Him: Lynx is the ultimate comeback kid. Despite everything he’s been through, he wakes up every day ready to play, purr, and chase his favorite sparkly balls across the floor. He’s a constant reminder that a little bit of love (and some medical care) can fix just about anything. Ready to add a little "wildlife" to your living room?
