Story
THIS IS A COURTESY POST. PLEASE CONTACT THE PERSON OR GROUP LISTED BELOW. THIS IS NOT A LOVED AT LAST DOG.   Please contact Nick at helpolihome@gmail.com for more information or to adopt. Hi there, I am the adorable Oli and here's some information about me: Age: 3.5 yearsBreed: 1/2 Maremma/ Great Pyrenees, ¼ Poodle, ¼ Wheaten TerrierWeight: 83 lbsGender: Male I am an absolute cuddle monster. There is no where I would rather be than on the couch with the people I love, and I'm happy with any human who is open to the idea of a good snuggle! I'll gladly offer my belly in demand of rubs, and politely ask you to continue rubbing with a gentle paw if you get distracted by your phone and stop. I can be quite lazy around the house, and if it’s pouring rain I will be more than happy to stay inside and just hang out with you.  However I also enjoy adventures outside, swimming and hikes up to 10-15km, especially quiet trails. I am social and playful with dogs I know, but a bit more wary of strange dogs, especially when I'm walking on leash. When strangers come into the house for the first time, I am a bit uneasy, but I quickly become friends when I see them the second time. Due to my great pyrenees heritage, I have a strong natural guardian instinct. At heart, I am a bit more of a rural dog. The city life and constant flow of strangers becomes a bit stressful at times, so I am just looking for a bit of peace and living life at a slower pace. My current owner thinks that if I am properly introduced to other dogs, cats or farm animals, I would make a great companion for them. I would however not be great for small children. I am healthy and fully vaccinated. While I am currently on medication for stress, this could be weaned off if I'm in a quieter environment for some time. An adoption fee of $100 applies. Story
We are having a big adoption event this Saturday, April 27th with 50% off adoptions and will be closed this Friday, April 26th to get the shelter ready. Online applications will not be considered during this weekend event (April 27th and 28th). Priority will be given to people coming in during visiting hours. Our visiting hours are:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-4:30 (Closed Friday, April 26th)Thursday, Public Holidays: closedSaturday, Sunday: 12-4Looking for an outgoing, energetic dog to add to your family? Look no further! Meet Kimber! She can be quite shy at first, but with a slow and proper introduction and lots of treats, Kimber comes around very quickly! This girl has completely come out of her shell with us and is very energetic! She loves going for long walks but tends to pull quite a bit on leash! Leash training and basic good manners would be ideal. Kimber tends to jump up out of excitability and could definitely benefit from an experienced adopter who would be able to train her. She is easily food motivated and eager to learn! Kimber seems to be quite curious of other dogs, but we have yet to fully introduce her. We are certain with a proper dog introduction; she would do well living with another dog. Kimber can be very vocal in her kennel and doesn't like being left alone and has become a bit destructive in her kennel, but is house trained. With eager, experienced adopters, Kimber would make a very loving and sweet family dog. Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 30.7 Age: 0yrs 11mths 1wks
