She’s the kind of dog who believes trust is earned—and once you have it, she’ll be deeply loyal. Winter is looking for a patient, understanding family who’s happy to take things slow and let her set the pace as she settles in. She knows her basic cues and is wonderfully respectful around the home. At the shelter, Winter showed little interest in toys and can be a bit of a picky eater, preferring quality over quantity when it comes to her meals. She does experience anxiety when left alone, so she’ll thrive in a home where her people are around often or willing to help her build confidence with time and consistency. Winter is good with cats and would do best with slow, thoughtful introductions to new people to help her feel safe and secure. Her beautiful, fluffy coat is part of her charm—and it does mean she’ll need regular grooming to keep her comfortable and looking her best. If you’re looking for a calm, loyal companion and have the patience to let a bond grow naturally, Winter may be the perfect match.
