AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! Winston is an energetic, 5-6 year old Husky/ Great Pyrenees mix and he has some awesome double dew claws to prove it! Winston is ready to help you achieve your fitness goals! He is great on leash and is ready to accompany you around the neighborhood or for a hike through the forest. Winston is a devoted companion who doesn't always want to share is person. He has done best being separated from other dogs. Winston does have a history of living with cats but is looking for a home without kids as he can be possessive over space and items that he thinks are his. He is looking for a very structured home with an experienced owner. Winston is house trained, crate trained and knows some basic commands such as sit and shake. Winston's adoption fee has been WAIVED in hopes of helping him find a home for the holidays. Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. Story
Breeze will be at PetSmart this Saturday in Waynesboro 10 AM to 1 PM. She will be looking for a home that gives her time to get used to her people and her surroundings. She did not have any socialization before coming to the rescue, with time she has learned that people are good. She is a great Pyrenees mix, small in size and only a year old. She has years to receive love and become a great companion.
