Betsy is a “big, beautiful girl” that is looking for a new home. Betsy kept getting out of her yard. Neighbors returned her, Animal Control picked her up a time or two, and on this last time she was picked up, her owner never came to claim her. After waiting her allotted time, she is now ready for adoption. Betsy has all of her vaccinations, she is heartworm negative, she has a microchip, and she has been spayed. Betsy is a retriever/lab mix that is about four years old. She will be a wonderful addition to any family that is lucky enough to adopt her!

Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications.  You must come to the shelter in person to meet the PAHS pets.Dolly is a 3-year-old female Mastiff mix who has been spayed. She was surrendered by her owner due to lack of space for her needs. This beautiful big girl has a tan coat and a black face, weighs 108 pounds, and is truly a gentle giant. She’s super alert and seems very intelligent, already knowing the commands “sit” and “shake,” and she’s house-trained. Dolly is sweet, affectionate, and would be great with older children because of her size. We’ve been told she’s good with other dogs, though a “meet & greet” would be required if you have another dog. Leash-trained and ready for a walk, Dolly might just end up riding home with you after your visit!  Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  *****Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications.  You must come to the shelter in person to meet the PAHS pets.*****October 3, 2026, 10:05 pm
