Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I’m Grape, the shelter superhero. My adventure began when I saved a bunch of kittens from a tricky maze. Being a hero is tiring, so I ended up here for a bit of rest. I’m a funny, gentle, loyal, friendly, smart, mellow, goofy, and sweet companion. I love making friends and promise to bring joy and laughter to your home. Why adopt me? Because everyone needs a superhero friend, and I’m ready to be yours!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 23, 2026, 12:22 pm

Story
We found Hugo on the side of the road near our home about two months ago. He was bitten up, emaciated, and full of worms. Unfortunately, the only shelter near our home is a kill-shelter - that wasn't an option. Over the last few months, he's recovered fully and is ready for his permanent home. Over the past two months, we've taken him for regular visits to our vet. He has been neutered, chipped, and is up to date on his vaccines. We also paid to have our vet repair his little belly button hernia. Hugo's estimated age is six to seven months old right now. We currently have four dogs that we've rescued, and our home is too small for another large breed dog. We've been unsuccessful locally finding him a new home. We're trying to find Hugo his new permanent home. We're willing to travel a significant distance to deliver him to a new good home.

Story
Hugo was found (likely dumped) by a busy street. He was full of fleas, worms, and a few large bites. I refuse to dump him at a shelter so I will be caring for him until we find the right family for him. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, potty trained, and crate trained. Hugo is a very sweet puppy. He is highly food motivated which will help immensely with training. He has done very well meeting all of my dogs. I think he would best with another young playful dog or as a sole pet. His playful energy might be too much for older or more timid dogs. We recently tested his DNA and the results were quite unique! He is mostly a mixture of mastiff with quite a few other breeds. Please contact if you are interested in adoption and tell me about yourself/family and why you are interested in adopting Hugo. I feel very protective over this sweet pup and will be patiently waiting for the right fit. *home visit and meet and greet with entire family will be required.
