Story
Beauty is a 2-year-old mastiff sweetheart weighing about 55 lbs, with a gentle soul and a thoughtful, observant nature. She appears to do well with other dogs and is great with older kids, though she hasn't been tested with younger children yet. Cats are untested, and she's shown interest in rabbits, so a small-pet–free home may be best. She's a polite leash walker and a very nice sitter, making outings calm and manageable—especially on quiet trail walks, which she prefers 🌲. Beauty does well crated overnight and is housetrained, though she does enjoy chewing and will happily "redecorate" stuffies given the chance 🧸😄 She can be a bit stubborn or wilful at times, but that's all part of her charm. Beauty is low to moderate energy and can be nervous with big arm movements or when she's outside of the house, so she'll thrive with patient, gentle humans who let her build confidence at her own pace. She doesn't care for water (puddles and baths are a hard no 🚫💦) or car rides, but she loves peanut butter, chasing frisbees, and settling in with her people 🥜🐶 If you're looking for a loyal, quirky companion who enjoys peaceful walks and cozy time at home, Beauty might just be your perfect match ✨

Story
Hi! I'm Hazelnut, but my friends call me Hazie 🌰 I was born on October 6, which makes me just about 4 months old, and I'm already well on my way to becoming a confident, capable young pup. I may not currently live with other dogs, but don't let that fool you, I love canine friends and enjoy social time when given the chance. I've also been cat-tested and do just fine, respectfully taking cues and coexisting calmly. I'm doing excellent with potty training and have had no accidents, pretty impressive, if I do say so myself. Crate training isn't my favorite thing yet, but I'm working diligently with my foster and making steady progress as I learn that it's a safe, calm space. Because I'm still building confidence and learning how to navigate the world, I'd do best in a home with older kids or no kids at all. I know, I'm cute and puppy-shaped, but I thrive with structure, consistency, and clear guidance, which helps me feel secure and successful. Training-wise, I'm crushing it. I know "touch," have excellent recall, and am showing just how much potential I have when given direction. I'm a pup who likes to take initiative and engage with her environment, I mean … food helps too! Thoughtful leadership helps me channel that into all the right places. Hazelnut has truly been set up for success, and with the right home, she's going to blossom into an incredible companion. If you're looking for a bright, self-assured puppy who enjoys learning, connection, and a bit of purpose in her day, Hazelnut might just be your girl 🐾💛
