Story
Zeppelin may be large, but he moves gracefully and always wears the biggest smile. With his tail wagging and a joyful expression, he is truly a big happy baby! He adores children and interacts wonderfully with them, regardless of his size. His soft fur makes him an exceptional cuddler! On a leash, he feels as light as a feather and is perfectly content with just a toy and a blanket. He truly embodies the essence of a gentle giant. Fun Fact: Does live rock shows for all his paw-pals and it is rumored that he gave Jimmy Hendricks guitar lessons.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 15, 2025, 9:16 pm

Story
Meet Barklee Barklee is a big puppy who is still learning how to behave. He is easily trained with commands when not distracted. He loves to cuddle and loves blankets. He is still food-motivated, but his favorite treats are ice cubes! As much as he loves people and getting attention, he is still very reactive to other dogs (particularly males). So, continued training is required. With his size (approximately 75 lbs), the fact that he doesn’t know his size or strength, and he’s still learning to make good choices, an ideal home environment at this time would be: - No young children - Single-family home; no apartment - Fenced yard at least 5ft high - No cats - No dogs, unless you’re able to integrate Barklee into the home well over time. He currently lives with two female dogs that were already in the home; they are 50-60 lbs (one dominant, one submissive). However, it’s uncertain whether an existing male/female or dominant/submissive dog in a new home would make a difference/be better - Not being left alone for long periods. He’s used to having at least one person at home or the two other dogs at all time. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.

I can be a bit dog selective and that's okay, it just means I'm particular about my friends! NO SMALL BREED DOG! I am not too crazy about the smaller breed dogs. Think I'm cute and want to meet with me, bring your current pup for a meet and greet to see if we get along! NO CATS! I never learned to make friends with cats, so long as you have a feline free environment, I'll be the best addition to your home. Want to be my new family? Come by the shelter and see me any time Tuesday- Saturday from 12pm-5pm, no appointment needed! I am bonded to Apollo, my brother. We have been together our whole lives, and I can't imagine life without my brother. We must go home together, and our adoption fee includes the both of us! I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment. I get easily frustrated and can exhibit this in a variety of ways. I will need positive outlets for my energy, and a calm environment. I am a sensitive and shy pup! - I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to go home to a calm environment. What my friends of SPCA of Bradley County say about me:"Zeus is a sweet boy. He is very anxious in this environment, and I would need someone who can be very patient with my brother and myself. He does not do well without his brother by his side, so they are a bonded pair. He is such a good boy though. Both Zues and his brother will need plenty of room to express themselves, and a patient soul to let them be themselves. Would you like to open your heart and home to these lovely brothers? As always, introductions to existing family members should be done slowly and over time. Our adoptions team will give you suggestions on how to introduce your new family member! Visit anytime! The Adoption Center is open Tuesday-Saturday from 12pm-5pm. Story
🎸 Meet Bon Jovi! 🎸 Bon Jovi is a handsome 3-year-old Mastiff/Boxer mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! 🐾💛 He was saved from the urgent list at the shelter in September 2024 and has been waiting patiently in rescue with Journey’s Legacy for the perfect forever home. This big, sweet guy is fully vetted and weighs 84 lbs. He's dog friendly 🐕, and kid friendly 👦👧 for ages 10 and up. He hasn’t been around cats 🐱 much, but cat testing can be done if requested. Bon Jovi is a bit selective when it comes to men, so he may thrive best in a home with a couple or a woman 💁‍♀️💖. He’s healthy, strong, and loves lots of affection, belly rubs, and cuddles—he’s basically a big love sponge! 🥰 📍 Located in Cleveland, TN 🚗 Transport available 💰 Adoption fee: $150 Could you be the lucky human to give this big sweetheart the forever home (and snuggles!) he’s been dreaming of? 🐶✨
