Story
Making the decision to surrender my dog is absolutely heartbreaking, because I love him more than I can put into words. Unfortunately, Im currently in nursing school and simply dont have the time he deserves. He does not do well being left alone and he thrives on being close to people, snuggling and staying right by your side. I recently had to move to a very noisy area with practically no yard, and the constant noise makes him anxious; he barks when people walk by, but hes instantly disarmed with pets and attention because he truly loves people. I even tried putting him on Prozac, but its not his fault that I live in a busy, stressful environment. He doesnt deserve to be in a crate for 12+ hours a day. He has 100% recall, but recently when I let him out to go potty, a neighbors dog got into a fight with him on our property, and that was the moment I realized this situation just isnt fair to him. He deserves stability, peace, and a home where he can feel safe and loved.
