🐾 URGENT REHOMING — 5-YEAR-OLD MALE DOG 🐾 We are looking for a safe, responsible, and experienced home for our 5-year-old male dog. He needs to be rehomed as soon as possible and will require a very specific environment. ⚠️ IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ: * He cannot be placed in a home with small children. * He has a history of food aggression and previously bit a small child around food. * He is a confident, strong-willed male and needs an experienced owner who understands dog behavior, boundaries, and resource guarding. * He needs slow, controlled introductions to other dogs and time to become comfortable around them. He should not be placed with another dog without proper introductions and supervision. * A home without young children is required, preferably with an experienced adult owner. 🩺 MEDICAL INFORMATION: He has bilateral hip dysplasia. Despite this, he does quite well with oral medications and anti-inflammatory injections to help manage his pain.
