Meet Diamond, Diamond is a typical English Mastiff. She is suspicious of new people but deeply loyal, affectionate, and mellow with those that she loves. The great news is that treats win her over without too much effort. Once you`re in, she is all soulful brown eyes, soft ears, drooly lips, ready to drag you by leash to whatever she wants to check out. Diamond is easy to re-direct if she is thinking about `getting into things.` You just say `Diamond` and she`ll come right over, grinning and slowly wagging her tail. Diamond will be most successful in an adult only home with children over 18 years old. Diamond has previously lived with a small dog, but due to prey drive, we do not think she would do best with kitties.Given Diamond`s initial suspicion of strangers, we may require multiple meet and greets before she goes home. If you are interested in meeting this lovely mountain of love, please stop by KVHS with all human and canine family members.

If you like your dogs big, affectionate, and with a touch of anxiety;Meet Riley! A dude whose favorite hobby is making friends, training (He LOVES working his brain), and pushing his face into the snow like a polar bear! Did we mention he`s smart? He knows a lot! From sit, his name, to heel and loose leash walking! He thrives when he`s working with his person (Plus, he loves the snacks)! Although Riley is still working on not jumping on people, he`s making strides every day- he just gets too excited and `forgets his brain`!Riley is willing to meet other dogs, but he hopes they`re as boisterous as he is! He loves to play and can be quite the vocal player. Due to his jumpiness, he is looking for a home with children over the age of 8. He has previously lived with cats, and done well, so we are looking for a home with dog savvy cats!Interested in meeting Riley? Swing on down to KVHS during available adoption hours to meet him quickly!

Sweet, energetic boy. Recently 2 years old in November. Wonderful with kids and other animals. Rehoming as a family medical need has made giving Gus the time he deserves a challenge. He is a snuggle bug but also loves outside adventures.
