Rescue FAQs

We serve the New England states primarily, Maine,New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode island. This is our number one focus followed by the east coast in general.

Additional adoption info

We have a written application followed by a phone interview. If the applicant is approved past this point then we check 2 personal references as well as their vet reference. If they rent we speak with their landlord as well. If all is well at this point then we do a home check. The final step is a meet and greet where the adopter and the household, including dogs travel to meet the new adoptive dog. If all goes well they can adopt. There is an adoption contract and the adoption fee ranges between $200-400 depending on the fees that we put into the particular dog.
