Story
History: Our Out of the Cold Rescue Effort was a great success in welcoming over 180+ animals to rescue from rural areas in North Dakota before the cold set in. These animals are all so deserving and thankful to get a second chance in finding a forever home of their own! Tiberius (nicknamed Ty) is just an all-around happy guy with lots of love to give. Because of his large size, he was a bit unruly when he first arrived and didn't have any skills or manners. In order to help make things manageable for his forever family, Tiberius has completed a three-week board & train program where he was working on things like crate training, leash walking, focus on his handler, and general manners. He has come a long way! Now he is ready to find a family that appreciates him for his goofy personality and tendency to be a lap dog!

***Kallie is BONDED to Koko and they NEED to be adopted together***Meet Our Gentle Giants (Kallie and Koko)These two big-hearted best friends are searching for a soft place to land — together. After spending their lives side by side, they share an unbreakable bond filled with quiet comfort and shared naps. Both pups are large in size but even larger in love. They’re calm, affectionate, and happiest lounging near their people. Unfortunately these two girls have ongoing medical needs, they’re looking for a special adopter with an even more special heart. They both have Hypothyroidism which can cause poor hair coats and excessive weight gain. Their condition is manageable with routine care, medication, and regular vet visits — and in return, they offer unmatched devotion, gratitude, and companionship. They don’t need marathon hikes or endless activity; short strolls, cozy bedding, and steady love are their speed. They would thrive in a quiet home where they can stay together, soak up affection, and enjoy their years in comfort. If you believe that love multiplies — not divides — when you open your home to two, these gentle souls are ready to give you their whole world.Adopting them means embracing a journey of compassion, but it also means gaining two loyal shadows who will remind you every day that the deepest bonds are the ones worth holding onto.Could you be their forever home?Adoption fee for the pair is $400 + $30 microchip fee (each) + tax

Story
Hi, I’m Luke, and I’m a big, lovable boy tipping the scales at just over 100 lbs! Don’t let my size fool you—I’m a happy, easygoing pup who just wants to play, explore, and cuddle. I’m all about the good things in life: squeaky toys, water play, long walks, and best of all—snuggle time on the couch. I’m a pro at giving hugs (though I’m working on not jumping up too hard to give them—oops!). I get along great with other dogs and kids, but because of my size and enthusiasm, I’d do best with older children who won’t get accidentally knocked over during playtime. I’m crate trained, housebroken, and walk nicely on a leash—unless there’s a squirrel… then it’s game on! I do have a slight prey drive, so a little guidance goes a long way. If you’re looking for a big-hearted, playful companion to fill your home with love (and maybe take up some space on your couch), I’m your guy. Let’s make forever happen! 🐾 Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Finn may look like a rockstar with his striking Mastiff–Shepherd good looks, but at heart, he’s a big, soft lovebug. Weighing in at about 60 pounds, Finn has grown into a handsome boy with a beautiful gray and tan coat, soulful eyes, and an even bigger personality. Despite his star-quality appearance, Finn is more of a laid-back, easygoing guy—think Eeyore vibes, but with engines revved and ready to love. From the moment he wakes up, he’s prepared to shower his people with affection… and trust us, it’s A LOT of love! Finn does well with other dogs and does need a slow, proper introductions to new friends—both two-legged and four-legged. Once he knows you, he loves you deeply. He’s happiest when he has a buddy (human or canine) to share his world with. Affection is Finn’s specialty. When someone comes to greet him, he lights up, runs over with enthusiasm, and hands out slobbery kisses and big hugs like they’re backstage passes. His joy is genuine, his heart is huge, and he’s always thrilled to see his people. If you’re looking for a big, lovable, slightly goofy rockstar who will adore you endlessly, Finn is ready to take center stage in your heart. Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

Story
Welcome Barron to CCPAL Rescue. Barron is a 4.5 month old Mastiff/Great Pyrenees. Barron is extremely affectionate and stunningly beautiful. This whole litter is soft, cuddly and affectionate. Barron would be great with a family with children. This dog has guardian breed, and would be a great family dog. He would be wonderful for a family with a dad that travels and wants to see his family has a dog that will watch out for them. Yeti went to a family with younger children and he is doing great. This is Barron’s brother. We prefer children to be 8 or older. He should be 60 pounds full grown. He likes water, decent on a leash and area trained. He will go on a potty pad. He is good with other dogs bigger than himself. His dad is a Dogo and mom is a Great Pyrenees. He energetic but can calm down and be extremely cuddly and affectionate. He has a soft coat and not a huge shedding dog. He has longer hair a little more like the GP momma. This breed is a guardian breed family even though she shows no signs of guarding anything at the moment. He is getting his vaccinations and will be ready for his forever home soon. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont and all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. This is a very desirable breed. Please be patient when you put in your application. We are being very careful in vetting people and we are a small group of volunteers. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
