Introducing Aura! Family Cuddle Dog Extraordinaire!!!!! Sadly, Aura’s human mom had to move to an apartment that can’t accommodate a big couch potato dog like Aura. She will be leaving behind a family, (adults and children,) with broken hearts. She deserves a fantastic, loving, indoor home, with someone who is familiar with large breed dogs. She is a Mastiff mix, to the best of our knowledge. Aura was born on October 4, 2020. As far as we know, Aura’s dad was a Mastiff (judging by her looks), and her mom was a German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees. Aura was the smallest of her litter and as an adult, she weighs in at roughly 85 lbs. She has a very sweet disposition and is very loving toward her family. When meeting new people, Aura is friendly, and interactive. She loves the cats she’s grown up with and she loves to play with other friendly dogs. Aura is a very loyal companion with deep love for her people, She’s playful and happiest at home with her family.

Pot Roast is a big, lovable loaf of a Mastiff mix, tipping the scales at around 80 lbs of pure goof and heart. After being abandoned, a kind person stepped in to help him, but ultimately couldn’t provide the care he needed—so Pot Roast found his way to the shelter. He’ll soon be undergoing much-needed eye surgery to repair wounds and address genetic eye lid issues that went untreated, and he’s already showing just how resilient and trusting he is. Despite everything, Pot Roast is a very happy lug who greets life with a wagging tail and a big smile. This gentle giant could use some basic manners (he may not realize just how big he is!), but his love for people is undeniable. He truly seems to adore everyone he meets and would thrive with a family willing to help him heal, learn, and enjoy the good life he’s always deserved. Doug 4.5yr Shep/Mastiff mix Male. $200 plus tax, 75lbs. Very sweet boy! Absolutely adores toys of any kind. Bit food picky, he says he just wants the good stuff! New to the shelter, prior was around other dogs but we would like a meet and greet just to make sure everyone gets along! Currently in a play group with a smaller female dog and absolutely loves her. Does best with smaller female dogs vs male dogs. Unk with kids. Met a few cats and seemed more scared of them than they were of him! Adoption fee is $200 plus tax. We do our very best in providing truthful information about our adoptable dogs. If you do not see information about one of our dogs’ personalities, it is because we do not know much about them yet. We do appreciate a dog meet and greet to see if the dogs are compatible, an appointment is helpful but not required. We can complete a cat introduction at the shelter in a safe manner to get a sense of the dog’s behavior towards cats. With that knowledge, we will provide a blanket statement that you are ultimately responsible for keeping your cat safe. We recommend crate training for all our dogs while they adjust to a new home environment. Please bring along your family to meet the dog you’re looking at to see that it is a good fit. Also bring landlord permission for adopting a dog which includes any breed or weight restrictions.

Welcome Pocket to CCPAL Rescue. Pocket is a 4.5 month old Mastiff/Great Pyrenees. Pocket is extremely affectionate and stunningly beautiful. This whole litter is soft, cuddly and affectionate. Pocket would be great with a family with children. This dog has guardian breed, and would be a great family dog. She would be wonderful for a family with a dad that travels and wants to see his family has a dog that will watch out for them. Yeti went to a family with younger children and he is doing great. This is Pocket’s brother. We prefer children to be 8 or older. She should be 60 pounds full grown. She likes water, decent on a leash and area trained. She will go on a potty pad. She is good with other dogs bigger than herself. Her dad is a Dogo and mom is a Great Pyrenees. She is energetic but can calm down and be extremely cuddly and affectionate. She has a soft coat and not a huge shedding dog. She has shorter hair a little more like the DOGO dad. This breed is a guardian breed family even though she shows no signs of guarding anything at the moment. She is getting his vaccinations and will be ready for her forever home soon. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont and all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. This is a very desirable breed. Please be patient when you put in your application. We are being very careful in vetting people and we are a small group of volunteers.
