And hugging things, whether it be a pillow, a toy or your arm. While at 80lbs, he's a bit of a bull in a china shop, but he's very well-behaved and a polite house guest. Simply put, he’s pretty perfect - Ace is an amazing dog!! Pictures do not do him justice. He's super handsome with a gold brindle coat that's so gorgeous and soft. Meet Maggie! Maggie has lived with cats, other dogs, and older kids and done well after slow introductions. She can be quite nervous when first being introduced but after some time and a gentle approach she turns into the biggest love bug! All introductions to new places and faces should be done slowly. She would thrive in a home that can take the time to get her comfortable with new people and situations, growing her confidence along the way! Maggie will let you know when someone is at the door with a couple barks. She enjoys bath time and being brushed. She likes car rides, tug, walks, treats, and squeaky toys! *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals. If you are looking for a dog to instantly make you smile after a long day Charlie is your guy. It could be because at just 7months old he comes up to your hips. Don't let his size get you though, Charlie is a 3lb lap dog at heart who gives kisses without needing to be asked. In the time Charlie was being fostered at home it was noted that he was Great with small children ranging for ages 8,12,14 one of which was autistic and Charlie was the goodest boy with them, Gentle though Giant, ate from palms of hands with no finger losses. Charlie crates well and loves belly rubs more then anything. Charlie is a professional snuggler and likes to be next to his human as much as possible. (even if that means on the toilet) With a lot of patience, and a large yard to leap and bounce Charlie will be the bestest Boy for his new humans

Ralph the Derp! Ralph is a huge friendly, enthusiastic, uncoordinated 4-legged energetic goofball! He was rescued from “death row” at a high kill shelter, as a skinny stray with a treatable skin condition. His fur has almost completely grown in & he is now at a healthy weight. This overgrown mastiff/Cane Corso mix pup has no comprehension of his size, leaning into humans for affection or trying to ooze onto laps for cuddles. He is being trained not to jump and not to paw for attention/affection/play because he currently has 85# of mass behind those “congenial” moves. Ralph plays well with dogs of all sizes, but would do best with med-to-larger dogs due to his size & poorly curbed gusto. He hordes toys, taking them all to his chosen dog bed of the day. He likes to carry a special toy “baby” in his mouth when going out in the yard. He does need to be fed in his crate & will guard his empty food bowl from other dogs, unless he is distracted with a toy & led outdoors after meals. He is great on a leash, makes awesome grunty sounds when cuddled, enjoys baths. Ralph will make a great addition to an active family with older children. He is eager to please, food and affection oriented (although a bit stubborn at times), making him an ideal candidate for success with continuation of his training. Please consider adopting the gorgeous big derp into your home. Attributes: In training to avoid jumping/pawing Active family He is neutered, microchipped, had recent cherry eye repair and up to date on all vaccines and preventions. Welcome Pocket to CCPAL Rescue. Pocket is a 4.5 month old Mastiff/Great Pyrenees. Pocket is extremely affectionate and stunningly beautiful. This whole litter is soft, cuddly and affectionate. Pocket would be great with a family with children. This dog has guardian breed, and would be a great family dog. She would be wonderful for a family with a dad that travels and wants to see his family has a dog that will watch out for them. Yeti went to a family with younger children and he is doing great. This is Pocket’s brother. We prefer children to be 8 or older. She should be 60 pounds full grown. She likes water, decent on a leash and area trained. She will go on a potty pad. She is good with other dogs bigger than herself. Her dad is a Dogo and mom is a Great Pyrenees. She is energetic but can calm down and be extremely cuddly and affectionate. She has a soft coat and not a huge shedding dog. She has shorter hair a little more like the DOGO dad. This breed is a guardian breed family even though she shows no signs of guarding anything at the moment. She is getting his vaccinations and will be ready for her forever home soon. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont and all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. This is a very desirable breed. Please be patient when you put in your application. We are being very careful in vetting people and we are a small group of volunteers.
