You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Poor old man was roaming in town from house to house just looking for a kind human to help. Nails were long and curled, double ear infection and severe flea dermis. He’s healed up, gets some hot spots once in awhile but otherwise loves to play fetch. Carrying a slobbery ball around is his favorite thing to do! Pancho answers better to Tank and is possibly a Kangle breed. We are only guessing what breed he is but definitely a large breed. Story
Meet Izzy, a beautiful 113lb brindle mastiff. Izzy embodies the true nature of a mastiff; calm, gentle, powerful, and fiercely loyal. Izzy is not a fan of strangers, and will ward off anyone she doesn't like with her super power: scary bark. She greets the people that are in her chosen inner circle with a wiggling butt and nub of a tail, but don't be fooled she will drown you in slobber at any given chance. Giving her a treat will result in a drenched hand. Izzy also is a big fan of toys, both chew toys and stuffed animals. Izzy has training needs : Izzy has anxiety surrounding strangers, as is typical of mastiffs who are bred for protection. She needs a quiet home while she can work on being less reactive in situations that might spook her like when strange people approach. She also needs a confident handler that can deal with 113lbs of Izzy. She is incredibly smart and treat motivated. She responds well to positive reinforcement, and needs someone to reward her for staying calm in moments where she feels uncertain. Izzy seems to warm up easier to women, but not so much men. Our behavior team is happy to help anyone interested in taking miss Izzy with a management plan and training.
