I am need of help rehoming Margie Mae. Long story, short version. I was awarded her in a divorce and have tried to keep her but I have no back yard. I mention this because we have to take her potty out front and she wants to defend our house and because of this she has gone after our neighbor’s dog. It’s weird because this is the only place that she acts like this. She adores all people and all dogs. She is fine at the dog park. Other places. Anywhere. Just not in front of our house. We’ve tried training and she is on medication for the anxiety. She is fixed and up to date with her shots. She is almost 6. She is ridiculously sweet 99% of the time. Her tail is always wagging. Just really want to find her a place where she can be calm and comfortable. She is a good girl. Happy to answer any questions. I am in Cottleville, MO Thank you in advance. $50 Rehoming fee. She just needs a good home.

DOB: 3/1/2018 Breed: Mastiff Personality: Phoebe is a beautiful Mastiff girl who is learning that people can be kind. We believe she may have been used for breeding before finding her way to us, and it is clear life has not always been easy for her. Phoebe came to the shelter after being left outside in a kennel with nothing but a bag of food. Since arriving, she has been slowly learning what safety and care look like. New people can make her nervous, and being kenneled around other dogs is stressful for her. She was not given much socialization early in life, so new experiences can feel overwhelming. Even so, Phoebe is making progress. Little by little, she is starting to let her guard down and show the sweet dog underneath. She will need someone patient who understands that trust takes time. Experience with Mastiffs or other giant breeds would be a big plus for this special girl. Phoebe has been through more than any dog should, and she deserves to know what it feels like to be safe, loved, and finally home. If you think you might be the person to give her that chance, please come meet her.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Poor old man was roaming in town from house to house just looking for a kind human to help. Nails were long and curled, double ear infection and severe flea dermis. He’s healed up, gets some hot spots once in awhile but otherwise loves to play fetch. Carrying a slobbery ball around is his favorite thing to do! Pancho answers better to Tank and is possibly a Kangle breed. We are only guessing what breed he is but definitely a large breed.
