Story
Hi, I’m Luke, and I’m a big, lovable boy tipping the scales at just over 100 lbs! Don’t let my size fool you—I’m a happy, easygoing pup who just wants to play, explore, and cuddle. I’m all about the good things in life: squeaky toys, water play, long walks, and best of all—snuggle time on the couch. I’m a pro at giving hugs (though I’m working on not jumping up too hard to give them—oops!). I get along great with other dogs and kids, but because of my size and enthusiasm, I’d do best with older children who won’t get accidentally knocked over during playtime. I’m crate trained, housebroken, and walk nicely on a leash—unless there’s a squirrel… then it’s game on! I do have a slight prey drive, so a little guidance goes a long way. If you’re looking for a big-hearted, playful companion to fill your home with love (and maybe take up some space on your couch), I’m your guy. Let’s make forever happen! 🐾 Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Tater TotPossible Breed - Mastiff Mix1 year60 lbsMaleHello Buffalo, I thought I’d reintroduce myself. My name is Tater Tot. I was saved from the City of Buffalo Shelter, and I am so happy to be in a foster home. I just turned 1 recently and I am full grown now. I am potty trained, and I can let you know by going to the back door. I sleep in my crate all night long with minimal initial complaints. I love going for long walks and exploring the neighborhood. I also like to hang out at home and be close to my foster family. I am a perfect companion to snuggle up with on the couch! There are other dogs in my foster home, and I get nervous and scared sometimes, so very slow introductions are a must. I do not get along with cats so a home without them would help me thrive. I get nervous around sudden and unpredictable movements so a home with older teenage children is preferred. I am continuously working on training so I can be the best-behaved boy I can be. I’ve already learned several commands like touch, down, sit, go home. I am currently learning place, go say hi and even how to play fun games! I am very food motivated and will do just about anything for a treat. When I first wake up, I have so much energy from sleeping all night long that I get the zoomies and sometimes a little overactive with the nibbles, but I promise I am working on it. When I am in the backyard, I like to run, play ball and bounce all around. I love to jump so a fenced in yard would be ideal for me. The best part about outside is sunbathing or playing in my little blue pool when it’s warm out. I try to eat the bubbles and chomp at the water. Don’t get me wrong I do love to play in the snow too! Please remember I was a stray most of my young life and I get nervous when meeting new people, so patience is needed as I learn all the things. Once I get to know you, I promise I am the sweetest boy and a total love bug. I cannot wait to meet my new family and shower you with love. You can apply online at buddysrescue.org (19)  ##2311512##

Story
Sparrow is a big, goofy, gentle puppy who’s ready to trade her tough past for a home full of love. She may have come from neglect, but she has blossomed into the sweetest girl who just wants to be close to her people. This adorable mastiff-mix pup is around 1 year old and loves affection — once she knows she’s safe, she melts right into you for pets, snuggles, and quiet moments of comfort. She’s silly, wiggly, and puppy-playful, but always gentle in everything she does. Sparrow gets along beautifully with other dogs, looks to her humans for reassurance, and is learning that the world can be a kind place. She’s the perfect mix of big baby, cuddle bug, and heart-melter and being kept on a schedule she’s been very good with her potty training.  If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who just wants to be your goofy shadow, Sparrow is your girl. ##2593900##

Story
Mia isn't just looking for a home, she's looking for her person . Mia is a beautiful blend of three incredible guardian breeds (Rottweiler, Cane Corso, and Boerboel), and she's got the best qualities of each! This girl is housebroken, crate trained, and has completed multiple obedience training classes.  What Mia Loves: Fetch – She's absolutely obsessed and will play until your arm gets tired Cuddle sessions – Personal space? What's that? Mia believes the best spot is always right next to (or on top of) you Dog friends – She gets along beautifully with dogs both big and small Her people – Once you're in her inner circle, you'll have the most loyal companion The Real Talk About Mia:Mia has fear-based reactivity with strange or new situations. This means she can look intimidating when she's actually just scared and trying to protect herself . She's not aggressive, she's cautious. With her size and breed mix, her "stranger danger" response can seem overwhelming, but it comes from a place of uncertainty, not aggression. What Mia Needs:Patience is key with this sweet girl. She needs an adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to work with her at her own pace. The reward? You'll end up with an incredible low-key, well-behaved dog with the softest fur you've ever felt. ##2051701##
