Allow me to introduce you to Kaya (aka Kaya Papaya, Girlie Pop, Big One). She needs a home - and she's incredible. Pros: - 70 lb mystery dog (vet paperwork says mastiff?) - Gets along really well with other dogs - Lived with cats as a puppy so.... Maybe? - Is trainable - currently knows sit, wait, lay down, and dance. (See the video for proof of her being the goodest girl) - Crate trained - Spayed, Vaccinated, and Chipped (we have the paperwork to prove it!) Cons: - Pillow stealer - Trash can surfer - Doesn't believe in personal space* *Counts as a pro for the right people. She's currently in my care - there's no rehoming fee but there will be a (likely excessive) interview. She'll come with all her comforts, including her emotional support alien, treats, toys, sweater,etc. I can't keep her long - so I'm hoping to find her a home in my network of friends / acquaintances before handing her over to a rescue. I'm wrapped around her little paw, so if her future home is in another

He is undergoing heartworm treatments at the moment, and will need a more calm and mellow household to call his own, at least until his treatments are done and we are sure that he is heartworm negative. His treatment has been covered by our Guardian Angel Fund, which is completely donor-based & helps cover the cost of the heartworm treatments of our dogs here at SHS. Dolly is 3 years old. She has been living with me for 2 years. She is a big girl who loves attention. She thinks she is a lap dog. She sounds like a ferocious beast when she meets new people, but once she feels safe she will want all your love and affection. Dolly does like to chase cats. She is best friends with a cat but when outside the chase is on. She is also protective of females and my husband’s best friend. She has had some formal training and is very responsive to the clicker and treats. I am including a 5 months supply of Simparica trio. She has a crate, and 2 beds along with some toys. She eats Purina Pro Plan sensitive skin food. She has always been an inside dog, but loves being outside. Snow is her favorite.
