Story
2 and half year old female, half South African Boerboel half American Bully. Very sweet girl with a great disposition, but will bark when she sees something around her territory. Would be a great dog for someone! Free to excellent home. Only rehoming her because we have accumulated too many dogs and she deserves to be in a better home with the attention she craves…

Story
Hello! I was transferred to OCAS from another shelter and I am ready to find my family! I`m friendly, energetic, and ready to impress my people. While at the shelter, I have been sweet and friendly, and eager to show how smart I am. I do have a tendency to get bored, and while in a shelter setting, that can make walking me difficult, but away from the shelter, I have been reported as being great. I have had mixed reactions when around other dogs, so if you want to meet me and you have another dog, a slow and proper meet and proper introduciton is key.Foster notes on Buttercup:`Though she is a bigger dog she thinks she is a lap dog. She loves to cuddle and attention. She is extremely tolerant of other dogs even when they show aggression or just plain annoying, Buttercup just ignores or tries to shy away. She’ll let the others know when she handle had enough, but does so in an appropriate manner. Though she does bite at the leash, with some stern commands, she will release. She likes to play nibble, but it’s just that. She looks intimidating, but she’s just a big baby who loves cuddles. Favorite thing: Very tolerant. Even when sticking hands in her mouth, she makes sure to be gentle. If using hands to get a leash she may grab, she is gentle. Again, she looks intimidating, but she’s truly is a big lap dog.``Buttercup is a 3 year old female with a gentle soul and a heart made for companionship. She was quietly curious and calm during our weekend together, truly a lovely companion for anyone seeking that. With a medium energy level, she is the perfect balance of relaxed and engaged. She was transferred to OCAS and little is known about her early years. I learned quickly to stow any leashes and collars as they became chew toys - she was offered a number of appropriate items to chew on and turned to those items during any down time. She was amazing in the car, quietly watching or resting during drives. She is pretty much house trained and eats carefully and slowly - food is not as important to her as companionship. She’s had sleepovers in a home with other dogs, you’ll see photos of her and reports are that she does well. She has not interacted with cats or children recently that we know of but with her calm nature and proper introductions, she may adjust well. She loves a cuddle on a couch and will happily supervise your relaxation time. Buttercup is a quiet, calm, affection forward girl who is deserving of a home where her comp
