Story
Sam is a 2-year-old mixed breed with a quiet spirit and a heart full of potential. This shy girl is looking for a calm, patient, and experienced home where she can take her time settling in and learning to trust.Think of Sam as a dog with a cat’s personality—independent, low-key, and perfectly content lounging on the couch while you watch TV, or soaking up the sun in the backyard. She doesn’t need much, just a safe, peaceful space and someone who understands that love takes time.Sam gets along well with other dogs and may benefit from a calm canine companion to show her the ropes. Fast-paced households or loud environments aren’t her style—she’d much rather curl up in a cozy corner and quietly observe the world around her.If you’re the kind of person who appreciates the quiet connection of a more reserved companion and are willing to let Sam blossom at her own pace, she just might be your perfect match. If you would like to meet me come to Rogue Valley Humane Society! Story
Dozer is a 100-pound dog that is goofy and loving. He is loyal and loves to be around his family. He listens to commands but will get into the garbage when unattended and will roam off your property if unattended. He is not good on a leash because of his size. He is not good at a dog park because of too much stimulation. If he gets over stimulated or something unknown triggers him, he may fight other dogs. He has also bit some people while "protecting" his family. You wrestle and squeal and he goes to full guard dog mode. Your home will be safe with Dozer because who is going to break in with his deep bark and large size. He has been an absolute delight to us. He has a 6-year-old since he was 2 and a 2-year-old that he is never aggressive with them. He does knock them down because of his size. His tail can also cause messes. So, he needs a dominate, loving owner who will patiently work with him as he settles into his new routine.

Story
Meet Jimbo! Jimbo is a big, lovable sweetheart who’s new to our crew — and he’s already stealing hearts left and right! This handsome boy absolutely adores people and loves making friends, especially with female dogs. He’s a social butterfly with a goofy grin and a tail that never stops wagging! Jimbo is still learning his manners and could use a bit of training, but he’s eager to please and loves attention, so we know he’ll pick things up quickly. What he lacks in polish, he more than makes up for in charm, affection, and that big-hearted personality. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’ll bring warmth, laughter, and a whole lot of love into your life, Jimbo might just be your guy! All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       May 23, 2026, 6:33 pm

Story
Meet Fernando – Your Cuddly, Rock-Loving Best Friend! If you're searching for a dog who’s full of love, personality, and a few adorable quirks, look no further than Fernando! This affectionate young pup is equal parts snuggle bug, rock enthusiast, and loyal companion. Fernando’s love for humans truly knows no bounds—he adores people of all ages and sizes, from tiny toddlers to grown-ups. Whether he’s curling up with you on the couch or greeting you with a wagging tail and sparkling eyes, his favorite place to be is right by your side. One of Fernando’s most charming quirks? His obsession with rocks. He doesn’t just play with them—he treasures them. You’ll often find him carrying his favorite rock into his dog house, settling down gently, and almost whispering to it like it’s his most prized possession. It’s the kind of sweet, silly behavior that makes everyone who meets him fall in love. Fernando is also incredibly smart and eager to please. He already knows several commands, including “Sit,” “Wait,” “Lie Down,” and “Leave it.” He walks nicely on a leash and is very responsive to his handler, making him a joy to continue training with. He gets along well with medium to large, respectful dogs and would enjoy having a canine playmate. That said, he’d do best in a home without cats or small animals, as he has a bit of a chase instinct. If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent, and wonderfully quirky dog who will love your whole family—big and small—Fernando might just be the perfect addition to your home. Call or visit the Ranch to meet Fernando today—he’s ready to rock your world (and cuddle you while doing it)!
