Story
Charlie is a 100-pound fur torpedo of love and simultaneous card carrying member of the lapdog society. Equal parts protective and dimly lit bulb, he will provide bark-only protections for knocks at the door or doorbell rings, but if the visiting guest is a helium balloon or dried spaghetti spinning at the end of the vacuum nozzle, you’re as good as dead. He is versatile! Then his protections become biochemical and he will indeed make a puddle no one is willing to cross. Squeaky ball toys are his favorite (as he still has his) and he protects them with mighty paw punches should you try to retrieve them for him. He is an independent boy… unless of course you don’t have baby gates, then he is Mighty Velcro Buddy, perching near/on you. This strength is not without cost, as with great power comes great responsibility. His super suit includes a non-negotiable waist lead when he ventures out and he uses supersonic shriek bark, lunge moves when he sees any other animal.

Story
Hi, I'm Cookie! I am a high energy gal looking for a home that will take me on adventures and socialize with me! I'm about 3 years old and weigh 86 pounds. I have a medical release you can read at the shelter about my ears.Do you like dogs? I came in with another dog but I will need to meet any other canine family members before adoption.Cats? It is unknown how I would do with cats, I may be too big for them. A slow, supervised introduction will be needed.Kids? I am a larger gal, and can be jumpy at times. Older kids 8+ in the home would be best.I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I'm looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Oliver is sponsored by Ben & River.Hi, my name is Oliver!I've got a heart full of love and a head full of tricks. I'm young, full of energy, and I've got a knack for making people laugh with my goofy antics. My friends at the shelter say I'm a fast learner. I know all my basic commands; thanks to some training I've had from Marvin Pierce Dog Teacher. I'm smart, too, always eager to learn new things. I'm best suited to a home with children aged 12 and up, and I'd prefer to be your only pet. Adopting me means a loyal friend, a funny companion, and a smart sidekick all rolled into one. Let's make some memories together! If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 6pm,(summer hours). If you'd like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets' profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Please follow the instructions on each pet profile.
