He was left behind when his owners moved out. Very affectionate.He looks like a goofy, kind of floppy hound dog as he ambles around. He’s sweet and affectionate. Gets along with most dogs. He’s a little bossy with food especially with a timid dog. Feeding in a crate solves that. Loves his play time in the yard with two stout dogs. Great on a leash. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. Tanner's adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. Farmer? Gardener? Porch‑sitter? Homebody? He’s your guy. Inside the house, Popeye is the definition of a polite houseguest. He doesn’t chew your belongings, doesn’t raid your trash, and sleeps through the night like he’s got a full agenda in the morning; although, he will take the opportunity to drink from your toilet with zero shame. He’s not clingy, but he’ll follow you from room to room secretly judging your life choices. And when it’s time to head out for a walk, he keeps that same mellow energy strolling along like he’s browsing all the baked goodies at our morning farmers market, taking in the sights, never pulling, never rushing.
