Meet Dylan
Dylan’s story is one of love, growth, and second chances. This 10-month-old Mastiff is currently
in Northern Illinois and has been living with a wonderful family who gave her a chance, but
they’ve realized she’s simply more puppy than their household can manage right now. With little
kids and a senior dog with arthritis, Dylan’s big, playful personality just isn’t the right match —
but that doesn’t take away from what an amazing girl she is.
We are hoping to get Dylan into a foster home with Mutt Life Dog Rescue sometime this week
(1/12/26).
Dylan is a goofy, affectionate, super squishy-faced puppy who truly loves people. She is great
with kids and adores them, but because she’s a happy, bouncy 70-lb puppy, she can
accidentally knock over smaller children when she plays. She does well with other dogs and
would thrive with a canine friend who enjoys playtime, but she’s not the best fit for senior dogs
who prefer a calmer lifestyle.
House trained and crate trained, Dylan already has a great foundation. She’s currently working
on her leash manners and continues to improve every day. She’s spayed, up to date on
vaccines, and ready to find a home that can keep up with her joyful energy and help her
continue learning.
Dylan would be an excellent match for a family with older kids, an active adult household, or
someone with another playful dog who can match her enthusiasm for fun.
