Weighing in at a magnificent 90 pounds, Sparky is a big, playful, enthusiastic young guy who loves to engage with his people and explore the world around him. He is neutered, knows basic cues like `sit` and `lay down,` and responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement treat training. Sparky is also a total breeze in the car, making him a great co-pilot for your next outdoor outing! Sparky previously thrived on open acreage where he had space to roam, run, and stretch his legs. Being a large, active boy, he needs a home that can match his exercise needs and give him plenty of physical and mental stimulation. Because leash walks currently involve a lot of strong pulling and he gets frustrated when put on a tie-out cable, a secure fenced yard or a property with room to move is ideal for him. With regular outlets for his energy and some consistent leash training, his natural sweetness truly shines. When it comes to other pets, Sparky enjoys playing hard with other dogs who can handle his bouncy, physical play style. He requires a feline-free home. He LOVES carrying his toys around like prized possessions and will absolutely parade them in front of you like he just won Best in Show.His hobbies include: sprinting (or rather speed-waddling) around the yard chasing toys like he just remembered he has legs, going on sniff-filled walks (snow snacks included), collecting compliments (he will not stop until he gets them), and practicing “sit” like the smart cookie he is. Scrumps is also a certified road-trip buddy! After any activity, Scrumps` signature move is to melt into you with his classic full-body lean while you deliver top-tier butt rubs. It’s his love language. Scrumps’ dream home would include older kids who can handle his big, bouncy energy, and he’s looking for a cat-free household (he says “hard pass” to feline friends).
