Meet Paxton! Paxton has an incredible temperament — calm, balanced, and happy to go with the flow. He has a neutral energy level and is just as content playing as he is hanging out quietly by your side. He absolutely adores children and is very gentle and patient with them. He’s about 8 months old and 55 pounds, and we expect him to finish filling out around 65 pounds. With his sturdy build and expressive face, he looks like a lovable bull terrier mix. Paxton is potty trained, knows sit, and is great with kids, cats, and other dogs. He’s a funny, stocky guy with a big heart and an even bigger charm — the kind of dog who will keep you smiling every single day. If you’re looking for an easygoing, affectionate companion, Paxton is your guy! 🐾

- Busy pup who loves to connect with people through play and other activities; will likely enjoy physical activity and mental challenges to keep his mind and body busy- Likes toys, including giggle balls, Nylabones and other toys he can chew - Loves to give kisses - Enjoys going on walks and does best with a harness- Doesn't always understand how big he is and could use some work on his manners right now, but he is treat-motivated and would be an excellent fit for positive reinforcement-based training classes - Tends to be a linebacker-type player with other dogs; will likely do best with a select group of rough-and-tumble dog friends with a similar play style (dog intro required) - May be a bit much for young children right now and would likely do best in a home where all family members are big enough and mature enough to enjoy his energy This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. MEET FORREST Forrest holds a special place in our hearts! Crawling his paralized self to safety only for the public to turn around and treat him like he was a problem. He was never the problem! He knew that if he got himself to safety the right people were going to find him and boy did he get lucky! Forrest was picked up by a rescuer and brought to the vet for attention. He now has a wheel chair and can cruise all over the place! He is living the best life in his foster home and is SO ready to find a home to call his own where he will be loved and treated how a sweet, kind and happy pup like him should be treated!
