Story
Max is a playful 3 year old Frenchie/Pittie mix who also loves to snuggle and relax. He could snuggle next to you on a couch all day long! It may take Max a minute to warm up to new people but once he knows it’s okay, he’s the biggest love. He is a huge people pleaser as he looks for approval and with praise he is such a good boy. He is potty trained, crate trained and knows basic commands. Max is great with kids of all ages. He gets along with cats and chickens. Max prefers to be either an only dog or have a larger female dog companion. Max is generally a very playful dog, however he knows when it’s time to calm down. He does well with large and medium sized female dogs. He is nervous with new people and can tend to bark and jump on new people. Once he realizes new people are okay, he’s very loving. He loves kids. Max needs a home with someone who can be patient with him. He will bark when he sees animals or a delivery person, this is something I have been working on him with. Max does have anxiety, and will need someone who will praise him and give him confidence that he is loved. He is a people pleaser and seeks approval.We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions. Story
Hi! I’m Nana 💕 Goofball, toy enthusiast, and recovering street kid. I’m a 1–2-year-old spayed bully mix found on the streets of Stockton. Saved at the last minute, I’m living the good life in foster care in Reno & SF and learning how awesome being safe and loved can be. I’m a smart cookie and I love learning. I already know crate, sit, stay, leave it, recall, and down. I’m also potty trained - I can go outside or use a whelp pad like a very civilized lady. Treats are my love language and training with a behavioral trainer has been a blast and helped me build confidence. The shelter folks said I’m friendly with male dogs, and in my foster home I haven’t shown aggression toward the resident female dog - though I do best with very slow, thoughtful introductions. I would do best with an experienced bully breed owner to help me finish my path to being a chill pup. I am seeking an adopter or foster/rescue to help me find a forever home asap. 🙌❤️🐶
