Story
Felisha has officially finished her heartworm treatment and is ready to find her forever home! Felisha is fun, snuggly, loving, and always keeps everyone entertained. She has never met a stranger and is incredibly friendly with every person she meets. While she enjoys being around other dogs in her foster home, she can be possessive over food and dog toys, so she is looking for a home where she can be the only dog and soak up all the attention for herself. Felisha has not been cat tested and has not been around young children. Any children in the home should be 13 years of age or older. She is potty trained, kennel trained, and sleeps all night in bed with her foster parents, something she would love to continue in her forever home. Felisha also likes to alert bark at new noises, so apartment living would not be the best fit for her. When Felisha first joined the rescue, her skin was in terrible condition. She is now doing great on Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach Salmon formula, and this will need to remain her regular diet moving forward. Felisha is a 3 year old, 25 lb French Bulldog. Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
