Burrito is a lively and affectionate dog. He is an animated ball of energy, loves nothing more than running around and getting in a good day's worth of play. But Burrito isn't all about fun and games - he's also tender-hearted and enjoys cuddle time. Burrito's sweet and loving nature shines through when he nuzzles up for a cozy cuddle session. He is very socialized and thrives in the company of his doggy peers. He has been around many dogs at the park and beach without issue. Therefore, it is not recommended that Burrito be an only dog as he will function exceptionally well with a doggy sibling who can match his high energy. Burrito enjoys rough play, being chased, and chasing bugs. Burrito can walk 2-3 miles a day. He requires both patience and commitment, as he has an active mind that needs frequent stimulation. Once he's tuckered out, he's content to just chill for the rest of the day. He seeks an owner who can invest the time and effort to channel his energy productively. He can't be trusted in large off-leash areas yet as he is more concerned with other dogs and putting things in his mouth than listening to you, but this will change.. Burrito prefers to sleep in bed with you. He does have a prey drive so he cannot be in a house with cats or small critters. Burrito has all the makings of a loving, loyal, and fun-loving companion. With the right blend of love, patience, and active engagement, his potential is limitless. He is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all vaccinations. His adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today!
