You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please review our Adoption Process before filling out an application.  If you would like to try a Foster to Adopt trial, please fill out an Adoption Application.  If you are only interested in temporarily Fostering one of our rescues, please fill out a Foster Application.   11/22/25Roxy is the most adorable and funny xs breed around. We do NOT know her breed but rescued from the streets of Ensenada we know she is a super mutt. Currently fostered at casa de ARWOB along with severa other foster dogs and cats. She is pretty great with all size dogs and cats. She may be small BUT she plays no problem with the large breeds and LOVES her toys, she may have a bit of a hoarding incline in her too. She loves to fetch the tennis ball and will hoard her tennis balls around from location to location trying to defuzz them. She also can be found nibbling on any benabones and rough plastic toys. She has a very funny, active and loving personality. She is not a yappy dog BUT can be barky especially if things are going outside the house to warn you. She does OK in car rides, has not gotten car sick BUT she does tend to be a bit scared and try to hide under the car seat, she probably would do better with a car seat or a second person in the car vs her alone in the back seat. Signing up for dog training for this girl would be great for her so she can be a fantastic companion, she certainly will bring love, entertainment and laughter to anyones home. She is spayed fully vetted and healthy READY to find a home before the Holidays!11/1/25 This young cutie was found outside of a rescuers home when she opened the gate to leave early mornign for work this little girl was outside sitting down looking afraid and lost. She had never seen her before and took her to the vet close by to see if they recognized her as a patient and network to find owner.  After a couple of weeks and no owner claiming her she contacted ARWOB for help to accept her which we did. READY for adoption and currently also searching for a foster. ARWOB is not holding adoption events at this time and if serious and interested in possibly adopting this rescue dog we request adoption applications are submitted on our home page at ARWOB.org once received we will text or email to schedule a call in the hopes we can move fwd to schedule a meet and greet. We do NOT place holds on rescues, only submit applications if ready to adopt. Typically adoptions are the same day of scheduled meet and greets assuming it goes well and there is a connection between both parties. The adoption process can be quick as soon as the next day or two OR up to a week depending on the rescue inquiring and applicant getting everything in order like landlord approval, etc.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you would like to meet one of our animals, PLEASE fill out an adoption application. Dog Adoption Application Cat Adoption Application   PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE IN THE MILITARY  please fill out a short questionnaire in addition to the adoption application. You must contact dperezsaar@cox.net or call 619-884-6435 for more information or to meet Dr. Pepper. Meet Dr. Pepper — Small Dog, Big Personality, Bigger Heart  Dr. Pepper is a 3-year-old, 11-pound sweetheart who’s ready to love life with his forever family! Once he feels safe, his fun, spunky side comes shining through — he loves toys, zoomies, and soaking up affection. He’s playful, silly, and full of personality, but also knows how to relax and enjoy a good cuddle. He’s affectionate and loyal — a true little shadow who loves being close to his person. He’s even enjoyed playing with other gentle dogs once he’s comfortable! Dr. Pepper would do best in a calm, child-free home with a securely fenced yard. Having his own yard helps him feel safe and confident for potty breaks and playtime. He’s house trained and also uses potty pads if needed. He takes daily fluoxetine to help with confidence and continues to blossom beautifully. Dr. Pepper isn’t an adventure dog — he’s a cozy homebody who loves soft blankets, sunshine, and people who understand that the best things in life are calm and full of love. If you’re looking for a small dog with a huge heart and a dash of sass, Dr. Pepper is your guy!
