Willa: 5 yr old black & rust female, spayed, docked tail and uncropped ears. 11", 13 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter. "Meet Willa: a shy-sweet Mini Pin who loves lap cuddles, canine friends, and making sure her human is never too far away." Willa is a 5-year-old, 13 lb Miniature Pinscher with a soft heart and the sweetest shy-girl charm. Once she warms up, she loves nothing more than curling up in her human's lap — her absolute favorite place to be. She's not overly clingy, though. As long as she can see her person, she's perfectly content to relax nearby. But if Willa can't get to you or keep you in sight, she'll sound the alarm with full Mini Pin enthusiasm to let you know she needs reassurance. (She takes her role as Emotional Security Officer very seriously!) Willa gets along well with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship. She has not been tested with cats or children, as her foster home does not have either, so those interactions are currently unknown. Willa is currently in California and is available for adoption within California, or possibly an adjacent state. We do not ship or fly dogs, so adopters must be able to travel to meet and adopt her. With a patient, loving family who appreciates her gentle spirit and endearing quirks, Willa will blossom into a devoted and loving companion. If you're looking for a sweet, sensitive little girl who wants to feel safe, seen, and loved, Willa may be your perfect match. Note: Willa is located in Springville, CA - and we will not fly this girl. Sienna Rose: 2.5 yr old gray/brown speckled female, spayed, undocked tail and uncropped ears. 13 lb. Fully vetted. Meet Sienna - A striking Chinese Crested mix ready to meet her forever human. Sienna tends to be reluctant when meeting new people, but her personality really shines through once given the opportunity to warm up. Sienna is great with dogs of all shapes and sizes, is potty trained, kennel trained and seldomly barks. She loves to play with her beloved humans and has been known to engage in play sessions with other dogs when she thinks no one is watching. Sienna is an absolute sweetheart once you earn her trust. She will ask for love and lay beside you on the couch. Potential adopters will need to meet Sienna numerous times to get to know her and understand she needs patience as she transitions into a new home. Story
Cricket: 8 yr old black & tan female, spayed, docked tail and cropped ears. 9.8 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter. Cricket is a super sweet little girl, she is pee pad trained (mostly), loves to play and is a snuggle bug. She is living with 2 large dogs and 2 cats and just made a new Pug friend. She is on a twice a day insulin injection routine which is very easy, she gets a tiny injection while she is eating and doesn't really notice because she's such a foodie. She will need ongoing vet care to manage her diabetes that would entail bloodwork and/or getting her fitted with a Freestyle Libre monitor that she would wear for a day or two multiple times a year. She LOVES people and being a part of the family. She lives for sitting on your lap and snuggling under the blanket a night. She also just starting doing walks with the rest of the pack in our state park near by. She's good on leash and doesn't react to other dogs on the trail. She has good recall in the house (we haven't tried it off the property) and when she steals something she shouldn't have, you can easily 'trade' her for a treat! Having a diabetic dog is something to take seriously but we think Cricket and her funny little personality more than makes up for it. Ruby is a 3 year old min pin terrier mix. This sweet girl was mauled by a big dog before she came to us. She has since recovered from her wounds and is fully vetted. Ruby loves loves women. We are looking for a woman only home. She does good with small dogs. She likes kids.

Story
Chiki is an approximately 7 year old mix of various terrier breeds and chihuahua. We rescued Chiki when we saw him get abandoned on the American River Trail. While we brought him to the shelter, he endeared himself with his cute face and cuddles, so we adopted him. We're no longer the best family for Chiki for a few reasons- he seems allergic to something in our household, and we have young children so we just don't have enough time to spend with him. Chiki's best traits: -Loves to cuddle 24/7 -Smart, he knows many tricks and learns quickly -Very food motivated -Will keep rats and mice away from your house -Ok with other small dogs Other things to know: -Chiki can be anxious, especially when people leave, but he's ok once you're gone -He's allergic to something in our house, causing skin and ear infections -He can be territorial The best situation for Chiki would be people who want a close companion that will curl up and cuddle them and who have time to spend with Chiki.
