His previous owner passed away, so the owner's children surrendered him to us. Now he's looking for a second chance at a forever home. Lil Man loves toys, plays fetch, and enjoys walks! He is generally not reactive towards other dogs. He plays really well with our active little Jane! Shelter staff believe that he might have been teased in his previous, so he does get very stressed when people look/stare at him too long. He's a quirky funny boy, but he'll need someone willing to take the time to help him get comfortable and gain confidence. Tizzy is a super sweet, affectionate and pretty chill dog, though playful at times. She will love to snuggle with another dog, and curl up together to sleep, or seek out a spot next to her humans on the couch. She is gentle with treats and will follow you everywhere you go in the house, curious and interested - and perhaps with a little bit of hoping for a treat! She is dog friendly with other dogs and enjoys running around in the yard, playing chase with her Sanctuary buddies. She would be happy living in a family environment or with a single adult or couple with time to go on walks and play. She could use a bit of extra training on leash manners, but is walking well when wearing harness. Tizzy will make a terrific companion in almost any situation. Boba is loving, energetic and full of life. He came to our house because he was surrendered at my work place when he was only a month old after he had ingested fentanyl. His owners never came back for him and I could not allow this beautiful puppy to be alone or go to the shelter at such a young age. My husband and I were hoping he would build a bond with our 6 year old pug Tofu and our 5 year old cat Miso but with his strong energy that just doesn't seem possible. I work at a veterinary clinic and I work long 12 hour shifts and he comes with me to work and unfortunately has to stay in a kennel during my shifts since he doesn’t get along with our pug or cat at home. My husband and I really wanted to make him part of our family but after 5 months of trying, we strongly believe Boba deserves a single pet home and owners who may have more free time than what my husband and I can offer. We truly love our boy Boba but we unfortunately can’t keep him and do not have the time to train him atm

Learn more hereMeet Squirtle, an 11-pound miniature pinscher mix with a shy heart and superstar potential. This young guy starts off cautious and prefers slow, gentle handling while he settles in. His foster says it took a couple days, but he warms up beautifully with patience (and snacks!). Once Squirtle trusts you, he's a super cuddly shadow. Affectionate and easy to take care of, he loves nothing more than curling up with his person. He’s done well with other small dogs and would enjoy calm, respectful canine friends. Squirtle is looking for an adult-only home with someone experienced with nervous or fearful small dogs, someone who understands that building trust takes time but pays off in loyalty and love.
