Story
(Mini) Max is a neutered male, 8-year-old mixed breed dog (mostly Miniature Pinscher). He was adopted from the Leon County AnimaI Shelter at approximately 1 year old; since then, he's had regular vet visits and is fully up to date on shots. He's in good health, is on a combination heartworm/worm medication and a flea/tick medication. He weighed 18.8 pounds at his last vet visit in July. Max is a sweet, loving dog who likes to sleep in the chair next to me, and in bed with me at night. He's very protective of his home and me, but friendly and interested in people who come to visit. He's also good with children and cats. He's obedient, and good with verbal and hand signals, but I haven't been able to take walks with him so he could use more exercise and consistent leash training. He is scared/anxious about having his nails trimmed, so I typically file them for short periods to keep them short. Max loves chew toys and enjoys playing with soft stuffed animals that he can shake and chew on.
