Story
Hi! I’m Kyser! I’m a 10 year old chiweenie minpin mix! I get nervous but once I get to know you I’m stuck like glue! I LOVE to love. I’m huge on cuddling, following my person around and cuddling under the covers (I think most call it being a Velcro dog?) I would love to have an owner that is home the majority of the day! While I do well with kids smaller little ones can make me a little nervous, I don’t really like my legs, paws, or belly messed with and sometimes they aren’t really respectful. I’m great with other dogs, but I think rowdy ones are rude and would likely do best in a home with calmer dogs. I don’t care about cats (unless they try and lay on me).

Story
Teddy has lots of names, Teddy, Tony, Tedder-Cheddar, Flacco. He answers happily, especially if there's a treat or pets, or affection involved. Teddy has come a long way since he's been in Rescue, he's learning house manners and will walk on a leash. He loves to chase balls and toys. Hes very affectionate. He can be possessive of his person. He will be vocal but is easily distracted and redirected. Teddy would do great with focused training. He loves to run and gets along great with the other dogs in the home. Occasionally, he can be pushy, but again, can be redirected. A fenced yard is a plus. A person/ family that's active, with hiking, biking, running would be a plus, as Teddy is an athletic and energetic pet. He might be a distraction in a place with shared walls. He might want to "convetse" with the neighbors through a fence, so consider that. He likes kids that are respectful and kind. Teddy will blossom with focused training! If you'd like to meet Teddy, please complete an application. He is a sweet, snuggly boy that will be someone's best friend!

Story
Shaggy was pulled out of a miserable situation. He lived in a home that was covered in filth. He and the other animals in the home were stuck inside all the time and were given little to eat. Shelter staff had noticed a couple of the animals had been eating their own feces for a "meal". Shaggy very likely grew up in this environment. Because of this, he will need extra training regarding his potty training and eating habits. He currently scarfs down every piece of kibble he is given. While we have not seen any food aggression, this sort of situation can cause it to occur. Feeding him separately in a crate or using a slow feeder is encouraged.🐾 ADOPTION INFORMATION 🐾Thinking about adding a new furry family member?
