Meet Miss Mikki Minaj! This lovely lady lost her former home abruptly due to her senior owner being taken away by ambulance. She was never able to see him again. Poor gal was so confused! Fast forward about 8 weeks, Mikki has bounced back and is able to see a future ahead. She is just the SWEETEST of dogs, enjoying leisurely days of sunbathing, napping & going for car rides. This girl is very low maintenance except for the supplementation of a canned food diet and daily thyroid meds. Her dental disease was quite severe when she arrived in our rescue with only a few teeth remaining and eventually we did have to remove the rest of them do that the severity. She can only eat canned food from here on out due to the likelihood of her choking on hard kibble.
A few things about Mikki Minaj -
🍊 She is currently on a weight loss journey! Her inactive thyroid was left without treatment for quite some time so she packed on the pounds. Eventually, with proper diet and her thyroid medication, she will return to normal body weight.
🍊 Mikki is a very mellow girl! She is nine years old and is a Miniature Pincher. She has a very endearing, quirky, loving personality. She is not very active, so would appreciate a low-key lifestyle. She enjoys slow strolls & cuddling.
🍊 Mikki gets along very well with other animals, dogs and cats, but prefers if they don’t overly bother her or excessively get in her face. She is looking for relaxation in life. She’s currently in a foster home with multiple other animals.

Once we receive a completed application, that is approved, we move on to do a vet check. If everything goes well, then we set up a meet and greet following that just because you apply for a foster dog does not necessarily mean you will be contacted in regards to your application.
Mikki is up to date on her vaccinations, including Rabies, DHPP, Lepto, and Bordetella. She is also fecal & heartworm tested, microchipped and spayed.
